Here my theory and what I’ve tried.
I’ve always imagined that the black square (blips) have a greater role to play, like numbering something. Then when reading on the reddit forum someone said something and it stroke me. There is 27 file including the nosignal one, omit it, and you have 26 file numbered (with the exception of the last one Fibonacci). What if each file is a letter corresponding to the position of the blip ? So file 2 (starting with ‘thk0’) is the 25 letter, Y.
Now what to spell ? Well that’s where I’m at, I’ve tried from the list of hours that Emily gave us. Base on the hour I tried to determine which file was playing.
My list of each file from the 01-06 to 06-06 (f-X/b-Y where X is the number of the file as in gamedetective and Y is the position of the blip in the file, * for the Fibonacci one)
And the list of hour:

00:48:00 = 17 (13 ?)

So, in Star Trek IV, they remixed the alien transmission to hear what it sounded like underwater. Is there a way to do the opposite of that for this? Because it does sound like it’s underwater, to me…

Yes note your location ,date and time and post a link to the sound file you hear and or the file name.
Look in this thread above for detailed instructions on how to do that etc.
The more data and correlations to the schedule of transmissions us helpful
