  • Fixed a PC-only crash that could occur at the transition from the starfield to the game.
  • Fixed an issue that caused graphical corruption on Mac.
  • Fixed a crash related to interaction with NPCs on freighters.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when taking damage from the brood mother.
  • Fixed a rare crash related to planetary objects.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when playing PSVR1 on PlayStation 5.

Experimental Branch 20/07 :link:

  • Fixed an issue that caused the player to be positioned 50m off the ground when riding some synthetic lifeforms.
  • Fixed an issue that caused all the trees on some lush planets to become giant corn stalks.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some planets to become infested, resulting in a loss of any settlements on that world, and in minor terrain shifts. The infested status of planets has been restored to how it was pre-Worlds. Newly infested planets will become un-infested, and previously infested planets will be restored as such.
  • Fixed an issue that caused foliage rendering to become corrupted.
  • Fixed a number of minor text issues.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the shop interface to fail to display correct in VR.
  • Fixed a crashed related to planetary rendering.
  • Fixed a rare rendering crash.
  • Fixed a rendering hang.

This was like the video in the ring.

I heard about it, but thought nothing of it. Had not experienced it. Then I saw an image of what people were talking about.

Every paradise planet since then has been nothing but corn. Three in a row :joy:

Fixed an issue that caused some planets to become infested, resulting in a loss of any settlements on that world

Ohhhhh thats what they were on my home planet. :joy: I thought they were flowers with a cool tower of pollen.

I actually like these better than the previous trees I had. Hopefully it stays that way.

They’ll be sticking around, I think the bug is just that instead of the new variety some paradise planets only have this tree :grin:

I have a feeling that it is part of the reason why I can’t find the new floating island. I find lush planets with corn trees, one after the other. I’ve also started visiting my old bases. I found some of them switched biomes from lush to swamp.

I thought so too but the addresses on here all work for me for visual floating islands and I’ve seen stumbled onto two (one from community mission warp destination).

There was some false info going around early that a streamer with the glitch visited floating island via address portals and saw radically different worlds.

It got spread around and persisted for a few days even though it had came out pretty quickly they weren’t Euclid addresses :sweat_smile:

  • Applied some minor polish to the companion register UI to make it more clear there are more than 6 available slots.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the wrong control glyph to be suggested when reporting bases.

Hopefully without the PFAS we get warned for, as that’s a current health risk on our beaches.
