Win10 Issues and News

DO NOT use Microsoft’s Health Check App. It is so very broken. It is giving people false information. It says my processor is not supported and yet it is on the list of supported processors…and please DO NOT buy the TPM modules that are already being scalped online.
TPM has been built into motherboards since about 2006. It may need to be enabled thru the BIOS unless you have a newer motherboard which should have it enabled by default.
Steps to enable TPM
Restart
Hold down the F2 (or FN F2) during boot up to get to BIOS
Navigate to the Security tab (use arrow keys)
Find a listing for either TPM, Intel Platform Trust Technology (IPTT) or AMD CPU fTPM
Toggle it to “Enabled”
Hit F10 to Save and Exit BIOS
If your system shows TPM 1.2 then check for new security drivers from the manufacturer
If you do not have these settings in the Bios then you have a really old PC and you need an upgrade :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
