Saw this on Sirius Livestream. Looks fake to me.
I am just sharing and not going to speculate on it being fake. It has to be said though that the page was taken down right after.
I dont think that’s fake. The scene doesn’t line up with the previous released one, it would be hard to manip something that much - position/angle change, lighting change.
Looks legit to me. Especially with the angle change like you said

I’d suggest it may be the "new’ pic for the updated site once the update drops.
Could still be a manipulated image but if so, it’s pretty good.
Could have just been flashed up quick on the website so the eagles waiting get a quick glimpse…bit of teaser stuff.

There was also some CSS leaked, which contains image base URLs. Checking against the image base URL used on nomanssky.com I managed to get quite a few images, including the portal image shown above.

Every one of those screens looks incredible. The map one is the most exciting…talks about combat threat levels? Awesome! And what is that metal ring structure? We haven’t seen anything like that before. How about that Diplo that doesn’t look like my daughter’s Play-Doh creation? Actually looks plausible!

It looks real. But I could definitely paint and retouch artwork like that using GIMP or Photoshop. It would be extremely easy for a talented artist.
Although I did not find anything, just followed some provided leads, it sure seems real, as they all come from the NMS content server.
Just give us the update already!!! I don’t want to spend half the weekend downloading.
I hope the sound effects of the portal has grinding stones and some cool animations. Maybe the steps lift and slot into place. I expect well have to find Atlas stones to plug them in or something.
Someone mentioned above maybe our freighters get attacked. It would be cool to have to call other players to help defend it. Maybe they could get to you using portals.
The freighters have winde gangways and lots of monitors so maybe they are VR ready. That’d be cool to be a spectator and just simply watch a battle through the windows. Taking part would be a lot of button pressing lol.
I hope portals aren’t an exact science either and might put a traveller a few stars or so short or long from your dialled destrination or fail completely and again have to be rescued or something.
