Like the others are saying, wait to see the patch notes before you judge the update. Maybe there will be some stuff in there for you.

I just hope that we get more varied topography! I want rivers, waterfalls, and volcanoes! I want those planets with flora and fauna to seem moreā¦alive! That may not be achieved with this update but I would like to think that we may be able to play something resembling the E3 trailer by the end of all these updates. Regardless, I have had a ton of fun with this game. It has become my stress release for relaxing after work.

bit of speculation here, but I do reckon the portals will be tied to a quest line that must be finished before they activate, and I seriously hope its a bit more than the āgo here - get that - go back - go here - get that - go backā like some of the base building quests, mostly because the āprequelā lore of Waking Titan was so interesting. Looking forward to it though.

Iāve been away from NMS gor a whileā¦have they added multiple save files yet?
Itās sad that creatures are so pointless that it just seems like everyoneās forgotten about themā¦
The thing I want fixed is moons/planets with water at the absolute minimum/lowest depth (but not zero) causing the remaining creatures not to spawn. But so far I donāt see that happening. But of course we gotta wait for the details. If this update constitutes another planet regeneration, then maybe.

Iām hoping that portals allow for damage free travel between galaxies. It can be crushing to essentially start again every galaxy repairing everything you own.
Technically, yes. Because you have Permadeath, survival and creative mode saves now. Though if youāre really bothered you can back up different saves to usb and swap me out as needed if youāre on ps4 though thatās a bit arduous. If youāre on PC this is much easier and more feasible.

We did see an image of an unknown race during the ARG. I donāt know about you, but that makes me think that it is somewhat confirmed.

Backing the save to usb or playstation+ isnāt all that hard. Itās always a good idea to back your saves up before downloading and installing game updates.

Going further from what I wrote in this link, letās say we will indeed be able to see other players (nothing proves itāll be the case, but I think itāll be the perfect time and give the haters one less argument). Letās also say that these ā4th raceā skins are in fact us; well maybe the different class designations get a skin of itās own; middle one could be Class AWK for instanceā¦
In other words: I just cannot wait!! I wish I were Emily and foresee whatās coming!

Even in the NMS game there is mention of a superpower that created the sentinels befor the rise of the Vyākeen. Then the Atlas itself being another language you need to learn.
