Everyone is roughly on 1,200,000 team score now.
On average, each team has done about 124,000 - 130,000 sabotage missions.
Overalll around 380,000 sabotage missions have been done, which is 760,000 negative points, spread out across three teams.
So just using these rounded and rough estimations (I’m too tired to do precise math :P)
Each team could potentially be on 1,400,000 team score there or abouts…
It’s not really that big of a difference when you look at it. The sabotage missions aren’t really hurting our progression all that much.
The patch notes talked about teams coordinating on what missions to do, and I think that’s where this sense of choice comes into play.
Groups of players can decide, “hey, we should not give any other points to other teams, and only give minus points, so we can go up a place on the leaderboard.”. Others can decide, “Hey, we should give no negative points, to anyone, that’s who we are as a group or a civ” , and so on.
Those groups or civs, big and small, might even be fragmented across the colour spectrum. In the end, I think it will be hard for any one “team” to coordinate an effort to take charge and outrun the others.
Unless someone starts a massive “every sage player make 30 expedition saves so we can push the numbers up!” kind of thing.
