I got the nE sequence email.
So, just to recap what we have so far:
4 emails (hex code, ascii translation, sequence break code):
42 61 74 74 6c 65 20 6f 66 20 68 61 73 74 69 6e 67 73 - Battle of Hastings - a/
4a 6f 73 65 6f 6e - Joseon - WO
52 6f 79 61 6c 20 53 6f 63 69 65 74 79 - Royal Society - nE
54 75 72 69 6e 67 - Turing - j
Sequence breaks combine into a/WOnEj which has been suggested to be an imgur url:
This image contains a math formula, the outcome of which appears to be 256 according to @DevilinPixy
So now it appears we need something that can link “Battle of Hastings”, “Joseon”, “Royal Society”, “Turing” and 256 to any of the 5 answers:
A 24-190-2
B 117-0-159
C 209-3-130
D 0-205-245
E 222-14-22
Or, as an alternative, we need to find 1 answer for each of the emails and then vote the one that is left over.
Also, we have the superlumina site showing in order:
BEGIN SEQUENCE -16.0e998112 …
BEGIN SEQUENCE -32.1af1983 …
Maybe there’s one more email yet to come.
There was never a set of codes to the first survey. Only speculation, people saw things that didnt exist, we chose 80 and got 80 codes. No reason to believe the codes are directly tied to the answers…
Guys, I think we might have the answer.
We have 6 choices of colours. All of them have 3 values that might refer to a RGB colour. A is GREEN, B is PURPLE, C is PINK, D is BLUE, and E is RED if we translate the options to RGB. 256 might refer to the 256th galaxy in NMS, called Odyalutai. The colour of that Galaxy’s core is listed as “Tickle Me Pink”. http://nomanssky.gamepedia.com/Odyalutai_Galaxy. So, C might be the option we have to vote on the Superlumina Mercury Process!
EDIT: Our voting options are A: 24-190-2 B: 117-0-159 C: 209-3-130 D: 0-205-245 E: 222-14-22. In those answers there is not any number over 255, so they might be legit RGB values. 256 is also the number of values a RGB component has (0 to 255).
True, the first process was just a series of numbers in which one or two things could be read. Maybe the only thing that mattered was that 1 vote had an absolute majority of votes or something.
But, with this one, we are given a nice set of puzzles, so there is no reason to assume they are not in any way connected until we have exhausted that option.
There were puzzles with the other one at the same time too, this is likely tied to the next glyph?
I have four dates:
Hastings - 1066
Joseon - 1392
Royal society - 1660
Turing - 1912
as a sequence between them there are 3 gaps
Also got an email phase001 - // 54 75 72 69 6e 67
the why battle of hastings and all the other translations? this solution would not include them so there would be no need to translate them.
This is in the description meta tags of the page everything behind the % looks to be the html equivalent of a character
222-14-22+%2825%25%29%0D%0A24-190-2+%2824%25%29%0D%0A209-3-130+%2819%25%29%0D%0A117-0-159+%2818%25%29%0D%0A0-205-245+%2815%25%29
Nevermind, it’s the current ranking
Got the same, decodes to Turing. As in the Turning test maybe
still lots of unsolved stuff from Myriad like the little prince excerpt… Not sure
I really like the sound of this… do we agree to vote C? Seems like the best option so far
They might be solutions for other puzzles. Maybe tomorrow more than one glyph opens up
I wouldn’t call that C “pink” at all. Anyway it doesn’t match Tickle Me Pink… I think it that was the answer there’d a much clearer link.
I can make a post on the NMS subreddit asking people to vote C. Anyone object to this before I do it?
Not sure if i want a pink HG swag t-shirt lol
I can agree with c. Seems like RGB has been a recurring theme for every site.
The numbers havent changed. Maybe the voting is over?
