Aye, well, it is as good a clue as anyone is gonna get I suppose, so might as well go with it. Pile all evidence on one option, hope for the best. Coz this crowd sure as hell ain’t gonna wait around to see if anyone can actually solve this to get a “real” clue.
I had the “Royal Society” one, and went red (i.e “E : 222 14 22”) as their website’s main color is red! Couldn’t think of anything smarter anyway!
Another update:
222-14-22 (21%)
24-190-2 (13%)
209-3-130 (51%)
117-0-159 (08%)
0-205-245 (07%)
Been lurking for a while.
I chose red too because of the above logic. If I had waited a bit longer and seen crushbrains post, I would have perhaps chosen A, green. The mercury spectral lines are one violet, one blue, four green (one yellow) and three red, from what I can see anyhow. And that kind of sort of lines up with the 143 pattern at Superlumina. Darn it, don’t kill the cheerleader!
Hmm… and my icon is yellow-green too… it’s a sign…
Super late to all of this, but I got the “42 61 74 74 6c 65 20 6f 66 20 68 61 73 74 69 6e 67 73” email at 7:00 am PST
Led me to the superlumina page. What is the logical selection?
Everyone is choosing C
There is no logic. Just pink.
The royal society website red is RGB 186, 12, 47
This is different from the red in the options to vote, RGB 222-14-22
Brands tend to be very specific about the color to be used in their logos and such.
Most likely, this is a fun little diversion tool to keep us preoccupied until the next broadcast or event thing, and will be the basis for some sort of goody given to some of us participants like the NMS keys.
Or maybe Atlas just wants to see how metrosexual we are…
So we just needed to reach above 50%! Cool!
Now…
We wait.
Oh lordie… if we get a free pink Multitool, I’m trading it in for a Geknip.
This is why we can’t have red things…
Gonna go explore now. I’ll come back later to see all the pink fireworks.
I plugged that dlIZYFoCpHoo in at the end of the website and it gave me 209-3-130 dataset loading. Seems like pink is winning so far.
Edit hahaha. pink loaded
I went back through the email and it said “input completed, identifying 100 targets, thank you”
What does it all mean basil?
Seems like 100 people might be getting a no mans sky code.
THAT’S HILARIOUS! hahaha
Guess people were right, it was just to choose the color of the website, lol.
