Do you think that was supposed to happen or are they just jippin us?
haha that’s great!
Would be HILARIOUS, if they didn’t intend for it but they were watching here and decided @#!$ it let’s change it to pink to mess with them
Once again I was overthinking everything…
That color makes my eyes bleed. We should change our personal icons to match.
Anyone else just sitting on the Superlumina website, refreshing over and over?
Mine is pretty close haha
Pink you say? Very well then.
and @ScienceofArt: my icon is already compatible, guess I got at least that much going for me…
Well… I guess I should get up and do stuff… I’ll try and keep up to date with the goings on
prior to that i captured the site before it went pink. here are the screens, i believe we will see the 100 steam keys sent out today too.
Check your email too in case prizes start to go out.
Umm I just checked #MYRIADNEWS on Twitter there is a post from its ago… a person with no followers and following no one @darkgod2611
News clue we missed
Nope… looks like a Reddit user, false alarm I guess
It’s SO PINK.
Truly, this is the darkest timeline
ok, i’ve been looking at the superlumina-6c.com page source and found some code that seems to indicate that there may be a login page on this site. See below:
body{background-color:#d10382}.preloader{background-color:#d10382}body{font-family:Open Sans;}.site-title,.preloader i,.login-form,.login-form a.lost-pass,.btn-open-login-form,.site-content,.user-content-wrapper,.user-content,footer,.maintenance a{color:#ffffff;}.ie7 .login-form input[type="text"],.ie7 .login-form input[type="password"],.ie7 .login-form input[type="submit"]{color:#ffffff}a.close-user-content,#mailchimp-box form input[type="submit"],.login-form input#submit.button{border-color:#ffffff}.ie7 .company-name{color:#ffffff}
prior sites never shown any login type of forms even though these may just be extra code. remember emily mentioning stuff about bruteforcing sites?? not sure if this is helpful or not. def a good day to be playing the ARG prior to the holiday.
Now the question is, do we have permission to bruteforce the sites?
i believe it was fair game from previous posts when people were not getting anywhere. Emily, can we bruteforce superlumina?
No idea if this has any relevance. I was running that equation from the imgur link, and while the statement “f(x) converges on 256 when x converges on 5” is true, f(x) is actually descending during that convergence. The function is somewhat erratic when run through 1 to 5, but there clearly is a convergance on 256 when x gets close to 5. Here’s the sequence for ascending values of x from 4.98 in 0.001 steps:
4.98: 458.356
4.981: 440.019
4.982: 423.186
4.983: 407.678
4.984: 393.345
4.985: 380.058
4.986: 367.707
4.987: 356.197
4.988: 345.445
4.989: 335.377
4.99: 325.932
4.991: 317.052
4.992: 308.689
4.993: 300.799
4.994: 293.343
4.995: 286.286
4.996: 279.597
4.997: 273.248
4.998: 267.214
4.999: 261.471
5: 256
Maybe there’s some significance somewhere in the sequence itself, but I’m bad at spotting patterns.
Also, when solving for x from 0 to 5 in 0.001 increments, the only whole numbers in the sequence are -8 for x=1 and 10 for x=4. Doesn’t seem very important…
No, in any games even remotely similar to this it is not allowed to directly attack the infrastructure in any way.
That includes ddossing, hacking, exploiting and brute-forcing. (Most of which are also violations of various local laws.)
One may guess at something I suppose, especially if you have any form of logical trail to get there, but a proper brute force attack would be waaaaaaay outside the scope of anything legit. Might as well turn that attack directly on waking titan and forgo all other puzzles/etc.
