Shit, the red dot of the night. The star Bettleggeuse look somewhat red.
Tried Betelgeuse, but never with Burnt hay, good one.
Tons of NMS lore refer to a world with âGreen skies, a red star, and an obsidian moonâ
Well done Mr Poly. ![]()
Youâre my hero!
Is that the actual code to somewhere?
Can we be friends again now?
Wow!!
[high five] Way to go!!! Suits you perfectly, too. You are a ![]()
So is it the code to the memory block? No one has said and I have no way to check
Yes, it is.
Yes. For node AX2.
Oh we were supposed to infer that the red dot in the sky is a star? Not sure I buy into that logic to be honestâŚI never looked at the night sky and thought âhmmâŚthat star there looks redâ or a different color from any of the others to be honestâŚjust small white dots of light.
Never stopped, arguments are healthy.
I donât even buy into the logic of seeing a star so clearly during a storm at night so as to be traumatized by itâŚitâs a bloody storm, probably not going to see any stars much less with enough clarity to be scared for the next ~80 years.
Perhaps Alex has pelopsia, which I learned about while looking up a million different visual maladies related to palinopsia. This ARG! (shakes fists)
gratz Poly
According to the hints we got from the ânudgeâ, the âuneasy bartonâ text and the âUDC(B)â might still be puzzles to solve.
It might not be trauma, remember the weird steps to save Arnaud? Maybe his treatment was to smell Burnt hay and visualize Betelgeuse?
I am glad we got the solution, but I still find it quite a stretch, sorry to say. If that is supposed to be difficulty then I wonder what else we can expect.
