This makes me wonder why coffee smells so good and tastes absolutely horrible! (Until you add sugar --lots of sugar!)
I wonder if there were chemical products in the barn (that start with a B) that may have contributed to his form of dementia if he inhaled the fumes at such a young age.
I can imagine what someone from A&S might be thinking if they were reading this madness of a thread lolâŚâOk so the ARG is on fire and some people are really mad at us because we made puzzles theyâre not smart enough to solve!â
Hereâs my summary of AX2 - thunderstorm sim
He has memory problems
There are cows in the barn
His older brother took over farm after parents, Alexander went to in-laws to help them on their land
At one point says he doesnât have a wife (??? possible white lie to avoid getting into it)
Napoleon(his brother) is afraid of the dark and would hide in bedroom
His father was upset, it happened when he was very young, alexander says it was his own fault
tempest, sister(baby age) crying, the sound of thunder hurt her ears
Jacques was in mothers belly
mother put the lamp by the sink when the sky covered up
mom told him to get the lamp but he didnât have it, it was in the bedroom
he broke the lamp (when he saw the thing in the sky he dropped it?)
lightning, barn caught on fire
clouds opened up, saw a red shining dot in the sky, looked like hell
â
went to doctors with wife and jacob
Jacob said there was s special sleep doctor in california, they were trying to fix him
they made him dream a lot, smell things
he smelled burnt hay, burnt hay and b⌠(?)
woman doctor showed ink drawing was nice
man who talked about the sleep study had a good smile (name ends with i)
From the patient file-
inkblot â mother
says he never hurt someone, offended by question of thinking of killing someone
med examiner â A. Rhodes
ware tech â T.H
I donât know a single human being who could admit to that.
eg: sees an aquaintance is wearing a new outfit and is very happy and proud of it, but the colour makes them look ill. What do you say?
âOh new outfit!â or
âNice outfit!â or
âThat outfit makes you look sick.â
âYou look so happy in that outfit.â
You donât want to hurt their feelings, so you do the âwhite lieâ thing. And maybe later let them down gently.
Yes/No?
Personally, Iâm an arsehole, so I would say it true.
We usually say âlightning struck the barnâ. Was it strafed by an aircraft? One with a red light on it?
As for the burning chemicals,
Iâve checked your mineral licks, but although some do contain elements that can cause problems (sulfer and the like)
I canât think that thereâll be any passwords there
[p:MANUAL]A remember a loud crack and I
saw the lightning fell on the barn. Fire caught.
thatâs what I was working with at the time
That part made me wonder what the âloud crackâ could be. If it would be the thunder, then why would you hear that first to see the strike after?
The strike itself makes noise as well, if the bolt is near you, the thunder would be instantaneous, after all itâs literally displaced air due to it being super-heated in an instant
Yeah, I guess it would be the barn actually getting hit.
Edit: I donât know. If you remember it all so vividly, I would likely mention the strike first.
The sound would be very loud, so more likely, you would remember that more vivdly
I once saw a building about 100 yards away take a lightning strike. And yes, the flash and the bang are pretty much simultaneous. But you donât hear a crack - itâs more like a bomb going off if youâre close to it. But maybe A&S donât know that.
Blast it! Still a half an hourâs worth to read through and Iâve run out of hearts to give âplease wait another 5 hoursâŚâ !!!
Consider everything -ed by me.
Emily: Iâm sure the cows are alright.
Alexander: They werenât. Itâs my fault. I need to get the lamp.
Why does he think it is his fault if it is lightning?
Why does he need the lamp in the barn during a storm?
Alexander: Mother told me to get the lamp. But I didnât have it. It was in the bedroom. And finally I got it and ran outside.
Did his mother die here? He said no harm came to his father but doesnât mention his mother
Thatâs the current thought train in the NMS discord
Maybe the lamp means something.
Here is a good video that demonstrates prosopagnosia. I had seen another about it when I was in college which I couldnât find.
His father needed the lamp. His mother asked him to go get it and bring it to his father who had gone out to the barn. He had to find it first though. For some reason he feels guilty over not having brought the lamp to his dad. Or maybe he is trying to suppress the event by fixation on something else. This lamp or the fixation it stands for may certainly be the clue we need.
For some reason Alexander tells the story as if the fire could have been prevented if he found the lamp sooner.
sorry for going off topic, but just got my first exotic, weee
