You can leave an expedition and return to main save state from the options menu, it appears just under the info for latest auto and manual saves, no need for the Nexus Terminal

I wonder if they exist in bone creature form? Or are all the new bone creatures land based?
It would be cool if they also had a procedural display of a fossil exhibit, similar to the armour and multitool display on the space station. I spoke too soon, they are all procedural, left stand is bipedal and right stand is avian and will change combination per space station 
I saw something about bone fishing in the expedition. Not sure if new fish or just fish with bones in their name in a specific biome I can’t recall. Most likely the latter, didnt see anything about new fish in the patch notes.

Can confirm, these pages have now gone blank for me on my main.
While in the expedition they are also blank, but it is showing yellow exclamation points as if there are new records happening (which wuld be the case since it is a new playthrough)
It is successfully recording and showing planet record discoveries during expedition and in main save when switching back over.
The records still seem to exist on our save file, it seems the log menu is just pointing or pulling from an invalid location. I imagine it being fixed relatively soon
My fauna, flora and mineral records are showing nothing, and the personal records are also showing blank entries for those three varieties, while person planet records i have stored are displaying corrctly in the personal records tab.

It’s kind of weird the guy selling smelly bones has a much bigger and better appointed shop on the space station than the ship fitters…

First off, old, dry bones do not smell 
And these bones are huge so yeah, they take up a lot of space.
The other vendors could do with some display models. I guess it has been understood you are ordering parts from a screen and the actual parts are in the back room on a shelf somewhere. Like going to the parts store.
That just would not work for valuable artifacts which you would expect to see on display and protected.

OK. I was at the first rendezvous - backtracking, I’m not sure which was the starter system - I have 3 in my list - Blegius, Naudsy, and Itaixo Prime.

Nice! Thanks for the hard work! But I also found a crashed ship. Let me check to make sure it has a hyperdrive…I dread the task of clearing up a broken ship…but I will do what I have to…can’t believe I got myself into this mess and honestly, it shouldn’t be possible.

You can add it to your collection, even if you don’t have a freighter yet. Which means you can keep your original ship - which means you only have to make the crashed ship capable of a jump. Not too much required to do that. You can leave all the broken slots as they are for now - it will still fly.

This definitely sounds like a bug. Ships with no hyperdrive featured in an earlier expedition, but not, AFAIK, in this one.

That’s not on my list. I visited the space stations in the starter system, and every stopping point on the way. I have Blegius, Naudsy, Itaixo Prime, and Xifenqj II (first rendezvous). No Juduppka.
I’m very confused.
