A small update on frigate mission behaviour.

I sent a bunch of lone or duo teams out on expedition missions, c level frigates, made sure they were a star below or equal to the difficulty rating.

All of them resulted in getting the original call of “ship is damaged and needs to return”.

So it seems this will still be the fleet event that will happen most often when sending ill equipped vessels to their doom.

So to embolden Gullys experience sending their best, definitely no need to send your worst

Sometime within the past few months (as part of an update?) I noticed HUD icons I don’t recognize.

I can’t find an online description anywhere. Any leads or knowledge about at least the three in the figure below (taken from the HUD compass area)?

@Linshell noticed this as well and I have not yet noticed these. Keeping my eye out for them. Where were you at the time? In space? On a planet?

I just shut down the game so I cannot check exact names, I think the middle one is for underground items like vortex cubes. The left one looks like the icon for tritium when scanning in space, but I’m really not sure about that, nor what it would be on the ground.

The one on the left I’ve noticed, I think it’s the sentient goo blobs you can dig for in the ground (can’t remember the name for them).

They’re all similar to buried technology in that they will show up on your compass when yr standing near them or over them etc.

It’s just always very slow for me, and very hard to find what it is you’re looking for, but when you do, oh boy, answers galore

I knew about South, but the bright blue diamond around it puzzled me.

NMSResources is a wonderful emporium of infogrpahics if you can find the one you are looking for ’ ^ _ ^

Its also hard to grab an image link to a sites infographic on certain pages, and inspecting source in chrome, theres so much html code per page it crashes chrome for me (very old school approach to web design here) . Currently trying and struggling to share a helpful one on Total Salvaged Data needed, image is encrypted.

I understand they want you to use and stay on their website but it cripples my computer and my phone
