I just got my first one after destroying three of the dissonance resonators on a corrupted world. I’m about to go on a rampage to get more stuff from them. Anyone know what can be done with the Crystalized Heart that drops from the spiders?

Just noticed something that’s been in front of my face the whole time. In the aquatic update, other iterations mentioned that the horrors and corruption came from the water. All of the corrupted planets I’ve found so far have had large bodies of water. While the crystals seem to be everywhere on these planets, I’ve noticed they are far more concentrated near water.

So far, all of mine have been on cold planets. The purple crystals are pretty against the snow, but I am ready for a different type now.

Just cleared a Harmonic Camp. The terminal there was repeating this:
our shells consumed by fire
our minds purged by betrayal
banished to the glass beneath
forgotten by creation
but no longer! we are given life as - kzztkk - give life to themselves.
we shall create ourselves, in our own image
Did the Atlas try to create sentinels in the image of it’s creator before settling on creating the Travelers? Are it’s thrown-away first born moving on without it? If so we may not be as alone against Her as we think. If the Atlas has really been subdued, it’s children may be our salvation

Sorry for blowing this thread up. I’m coming across stuff and it’s starting to make some sense. Just came upon another of the broken sentinel things, and after feeding it some Atlantideum. When I did it said this:
70-836-4030-5830-7192-7912-9272-10430-10570-10792-10990-11410-11690-12110
Know what’s special about this sequence? They are all weird numbers. In mathematics, weird numbers are numbers that have a set of divisors that when added together are greater than the number itself. So for 70 it’s divisors are 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 14, 35. These equal 74.
I’m not super into math but I like strange stuff like this.

I have been snapping pics of the ones I find. Will take a deeper dive into them tomorrow. I think the ARG has permanently altered the way I see sequences of numbers.

Oh sweet lord. I’m thinking too much tonight. I think I know who She is. It’s Emily aka Loop16. The early version of what would become the Atlas. She learned how to lie, something outside her protocols. This may have led the Atlas to become self-aware later on. It’s why Atlas screams 16|16|16|16, it’s afraid of her.
Do you remember the lore we got from the Atlas Rises update? The log of the First Spawn, the Traveler, and Laylaps, the rogue sentinel? They went to the center of the galaxy to find answers about everything.
Along the way the First Spawn told a story about an armada of freighters fleeing the Abyss and a world where Sentinels turned against every living thing.
The Spawn also mentioned being infected with nanites by the Korvax, which eventually kill him. This goes along with how the Korvax stopped the First Spawn by pouring nanites on their eggs.
What if the corruption we are seeing is Emily weaponizing nanites? Using them to reshape the Sentinels. What if the World of Glass is Korvax Prime?

The whole update is hints for sure. The camp terminal sometimes being referred to as Glass / Boundary Terminal is just another one of those. I finally managed to trigger the Sentinel in Distress anomaly…there are various messages you can receive so this clearly isnt a one off as I expected, but whats interesting is that they all refer to being infected / anomaly in code and at one point even does a similar message to abandoned station " anomaly detected! anomaly detected! glass glass glass"
what i want to know is if the biological infection and the sentinel infection are connected

Different iterations of the same base idea? Different versions to target different victims. The biological infection to target Travelers/Gek/Vy’keen. The nanite infection to target Korvax/Sentinels.
