Legacy Zero has information that points to an August 16th release.
Of course its not official, so take this news with skepticism, but having the update in 2 weeks would be great.

Anyone recall the rumour caused by the Swedish Gamestop trade list @johnnycloud posted about back in June? It showed NMS on Switch to be eligible for Trade Offer.
Well, have a look again now the list has been updated. NMS no longer shows for the Switch and is only listed for the Xbox One now.

@LordMarkov: The PS4 release date has been known for a while now and seems reasonable to be honest. I am just not too familiar with PS4 and what this actually means. Is this just an expected date or set in stone? Is this for a digital release/update, or does this include physical release as well?

I agree. The information comes from Playstation support and Best Buy. There is little we see for nuance to decipher what that means for a full release or physical copies.
However, it was the first plausible release date I have seenā¦ hence my excitement

I havenāt kept up with events, but since Summer (for me) is half over - Iāll guess Beyond is released on August 12. Seems a nice round date and itās a Friday (for me).

Got my PSVR. Havenāt puked yet. Iām going crazy wondering why Hello games has been so quiet about beyond.
Iām so excited for it yet am nervous about the third thing in the update.
I miss all of the excitement and wonder on this forum. Cant wait for it to happen soon.

ESRB rating for NMS, includes Beyond for PC and PS4, but interestingly enough not Xbox One.
I guess Xbox One is not going to be a physical release, just an update since they lack VR?

Hello Games could very likely to release āsomethingā around the 16th for that weekend, as the game was first launched in North America on the 9th august 2016 and in Europe on the 10th and world wide on the 12th.
The reason that anniversary weekend is significant, is because there is a meet up planned in Guildford on the 17th August, arranged by fans of the game. The billboard that has been purchased by the fans to say thank you to the developers and will hopefully be revealed that weekend. Also the excess donations raised by the fans, will be going to charity so hopefully there will be good news to shout about on that day for everyone involved. Genuine free publicity.
Hopefully something fun will be announced, even if it is a teaser with a short ARG or something to wake the sleeping titans up and fuel an anticipated launch window maybe end of August.

No word on what number 3 is yet. I also recall hearing SM saying in one of his interviews that they donāt want to talk about any features until itās ready and canāt possibly change. Either theyāre waiting until the last minute to say something about #3 or perhaps it could be troubling news meaning itās not ready for prime time yet? hmmmmm
