New Video! Elizabeth Message - Phase 3

Dang, good job!
But why an Echo Liz? That would just be her voice at this point right? The Echo company has only gotten as far as using people’s voices to make them say whatever they want. The AI part hasn’t been mentioned. If it is an echo of Liz, it’s definitely a future version. I’m more inclined to think the different videos are all different dimensions, running simultaneously.

Well, looks like the next video won’t be around until the 24th. Not gonna lie, I thought we were gonna get a twist today and not have a video at all or something like that. Having a hint that there are different versions of the video, though, is quite a twist in and of itself…

Once heard, these snippets of dialog can’t be unheard. I can hear the things I’m certain of in Video 1 (the most obfuscated one)… Confirmation bias? Hmm…

This is why I added timecode in the lower right corner in this version… Tell us where you hear 'Echo"? (Format is min sec frames)… Note that, like in my previous versions, I’ve slowed this down slightly to enhance intelligibility…

Agreed. As far as echo Liz… well, I’m just throwing spitballs here.

I think after “different timeline” she says, “I suck at this”, or at least that’s what I make out from the syllable sounds and the way she emphasizes them. The first thing she says as your video starts is “my noodles”. Which is ridiculous and baffling, but I listened to it like 20 times and I swear that’s what she says, it comes through very clear.

Why is the background Elizabeth saying such random stuff? Is this an Echo version of her that’s gone haywire? Have the different timelines become intertwined where Elizabeth is and the other timeline is leaking through?

I hear the “echo” chirp at about 25:10, right after she says “I suck at this” or whatever she says there.

I’m aware of getting tripped up on sounds…pattern recognition. But I feel very confident about her saying “different timeline”.

Yes… it does sound like “SUCK!” It might also be “fun” (“you’re having fun!”)… or a certain swear word (“you’re getting F…”). Hard to say.

I’m beginning to feel like we won’t ever be presented with the underlying message… One thing that sticks out in this version… the sound of a door opening or closing just before the 10 second mark (00:00:10.00)… or something. I don’t think that’s an artifact of processing.

Anyway, there’s something going on here. I remain worried about Liz… or her double…or both of them… or something.

Ok I hear what you’re talking about. It’s just a static chirp. High then low. “Chick-choop!” It’s not literally saying “echo!”.

I might have just deleted that part, but this piece of audio exists in isolation. It’s not covering anything up. Neither is it saying anything. Just noise with different frequency spectra.

The robotized nature of Liz’s dialog is a side effect of processing. You know how she sounds when we can hear her clearly. When her voice is nearly completely obliterated, all we have is sibilants (“ess” sounds), fricatives (“eff” sounds) and very little fundamental. But we can hear numbers of syllables, etc. and relative stress on those. (Like, "of thIS ex-IS-tence.)

There are plenty of noise bursts throughout. I’m pretty sure the “Ech-oh” vocalization you’re describing is just one of these.

There are many sections where there seems to be no voice carrier at all. (That is, intentional deletion or obfuscation or an edit.)

i fond this in the videos of Elizabeth. This is not an audio signal maybe massage or part of the video editing?
Its look like digital signal. Any ideas?

I did manipulate this video’s audio with the purpose of bringing out the moments we can understand. Though I left Phase 3 mostly there throughout. Just a matter of sound mixing the others in and not making viewers hold their ears while they watch. :stuck_out_tongue:

It looks about right considering the amount of noise, pops, and clicks that were thrown in there to break up the ‘transmission.’ Loads of artifacting to match the video very well. It’s a bit impressive actually. I’m rather curious what the original looks like…

There is some low frequency stuff going on in parts of that video. I keep deleting them as they obscure intelligibility. I don’t see a clear pattern or message here… If there were, it would be something like morse code-- (long/short/long-long short) but since the pulses aren’t particularly uniform, I think it’s just noise. (For example. subsonic stuff like this can be caused by bumping a mic stand or the A/C turning on, or a truck driving by, etc.)

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the ones that work. Maybe its not an alternate dimension, maybe its just two videos from different times. The first, she is explaining about their project; the second is later when something has gone wrong.

Rather than putting all the videos together, we may need to seperate out the parts that belong together to see the two videos and understand them both. Which is probably what we need to do regardless of the cause.

Again, this looks like the sound waves used to generate terrain in No Man’s Sky (it looks like rock formations in the California desert), but I suppose many sound waves could look like that.

Right, I saw you mention that before. A very interesting idea. If they did use that for anything, how do you think it would be implemented? It would be impossible to find a planet with that specific terrain. lol. But what about just pointing to a password/key with the word PLANET or TERRAIN or even NOISE?

I realize it doesn’t actually say “echo”, it just sounds like that. And that may have been intentional. This two-syllable chirp can be found in every Elizabeth video and doesn’t sound any of the other digital noise. It sounds like a deliberately crafted sound effect to my ears. But even if it is, it’s probably not significant, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is that “existence” line you’re talking about at around 10 seconds in? I can kind of hear something like that, but it’s very muddy. I imagine each one of the Elizabeth videos we get will isolate a different segment of the background talking.

@MacForADay Yeah, those waveforms don’t look out of the ordinary.

I don’t know; it could just be another easter egg pointing to a connection between NMS and WT like so many others. Or it’s just a coincidence because a lot of sound waves look like that (hence why Perlin Noise is used to generate terrain in games). Then again, a couple people now have pointed out the waves as looking unusual without reaching for a NMS tie-in like me, so it may be intentional.

Not sure if anyone else caught this or if it was stated earlier. From Kyle’s video at 0:07, 0:10, 0:16 as each of the three video become clear. I can faintly hear her say “Help Us”. The first one is in the background so it’s kind of hard to hear.

In the first video “help us” was very audible, so yeah, it’s not really new. But some version of the Waking Titan crew out there are definitely in a jam.
