I wonder if NORAD will wonder why so many people are following this satellite? Interesting that even with my location turned off their tracker still knew where I was. It was not exact but, very close.
More to the point, what are the Chinese going to make of this sudden world-wide interest in one of their secret spy satellites?
And Hello Games wants to do business in China…
Yeah. Me too on phone. Let me try my tablet. Ok works on my Lenovo tablet. You can also track the satellite using the norad site. I would assume that is why we have two ways to track it.
I will be amazed, if by the end of this ARG, FBI or someone hasn’t come knocking on someone’s door, lol. I have had my devices do some strange things in the last couple of days then all goes back to normal. Makes me wonder…
It will be over me in about 3 hours 23 minutes so I would guesstimate over CA in about 2hrs 23 min . Over Alaska now.
Here is a close-up view of the player model

" Doppler shift
Due to the high orbital speed of the amateur-satellites, the uplink and downlink frequencies will vary during the course of a satellite pass. This phenomenon is known as the Doppler effect. While the satellite is moving towards the ground station, the downlink frequency will appear to be higher than normal and therefore, the receiver frequency at the ground station must be adjusted higher in order to continue receiving the satellite. The satellite in turn, will be receiving the uplink signal at a higher frequency than normal so the ground station’s transmitted uplink frequency must be lower in order to be received by the satellite. After the satellite passes overhead and begins to move away, this process reverses itself. The downlink frequency will appear lower and the uplink frequency will need to be adjusted higher. "
May 27 at 22:13 is as close as the satellite will be to San Diego. I’m usually awake then so we’ll see how it works out.
TQQdles™
June 2nd will be the best for me here in Florida.
Should be able to see it as it’ll be going directly overhead. Hopefully it’ll be a clear night!
Correct. I had to check though! It was the first time I’ve actually touched my V.4 pass in months.

Australia!
Signal strength kept going up automatically, as if it’s tracking something. edit: time for bed.
Ok, final edit before sleep engulfs me. The signal strength is still counting, it’s down to 244271806.xxxxx<---- xxxxxx changes too fast to read.
The sync code worked in bit.ly and went to a map of Hamburg on bing.
Sorry, I’m dead tired now and this probably makes no sense
. edit: probably just a bug.
Hey, I want to try that GPS spoof app!
looks like the satellite is going to be over the east coast U.S. tonight. Everybody wave as it passes by!
It’s only going to zip by at 4.69 miles per second… (thats 16,880 miles per hour)
I’ll check it out. I have an iPhone, but I might try something on the pc anyway.
The signal strength started to decrease like 2 min before I thought it would peak.
I was hitting refresh on the uplink, until the sat was directly overhead.
I’m in northeast Arkansas, so the satellite came very close to me. I peaked at .975 as it went past us.
