This shows that, even before we could cheaply transmit memes, humans were already silly.

The coyote silhouette is very funny - but putting a road runner next to it completely kills the humour. It’s like laughing at your own joke, or explaining a punch line. Either people get the gag, or they don’t, but you should never explain it. It’s just not funny if you do.
I guess someone thinks people won’t get the reference to the Roadrunner cartoon and Wile E Coyote. They completely ruin what could be a great bit of humor for those who remember and loved the cartoon
Weird. I found that the most brilliant part of it. “could’ve just put the coyote there and be done with it”, I thought, “That guy’s really committed to the bit!”
Well, it does look very much like the cartoon where; after the coyote had an unfortunate incident, the roadrunner would return, stand & look at him, give his signature Beep Beep then exit in a puff of dust.
So yes, it is slightly over explaining the dent sticker but it also adds a bit of context for those who might not get it immediately.
A bit like giving (a slightly dopey) someone a certain look after a cheeky joke to make sure they get your meaning.
