The NMS Discord is clamouring for NMS memes. Someone keeps posting Lulumbu once weekly and 95% of the rest are too generic. You could crosspost them there, too. But we get them first!

Some guy found a planet with the generated name Lulumbu and keeps re-posting the screenshot. To him it’s an inherently funny word, like what Dr Seuss writes. Or like “Badger badger badger mushroom!”

The meaning of this is totally lost on me. National / cultural / generational thing?
Anything 1900’s is over a ¼ century old & thus ancient by modern standards,(& certainly old enough to not need an ID age check).
Assuming that to be true, why would anyone find it funny?
It is likely only funny to those born in the 2000s
And who are in countries that have ID cards.
aka Driver’s License.
A lot of places that serve alcohol around the world ID check you to ensure no one underaged is allowed on the premises & in avertanyly served alcohol. Some countries have HUGE fines for serving underaged patrons alcohol.
