On the last boss for Baldurs Gate 3, or close to it, and Valheim just updated with Hildirs Quest and currently upgrading my server world. So I now have a deadline for those.
Also brining my Dad to 14 Henrietta Street on Thursday, all the early tours were booked out, I didn’t mind at the time but now I really wish it wasn’t an evening visit XD Bus journey home is 2 hours. Reminds me of being at a cousins wedding in the UK the day Atlas Rises dropped. But stakes are lower and home is closer. Sequels often do underperform : 3
I’ve been getting the impression that would be part 4 of the arc as it does have a nice touch of finality and pay off to it. And would be close to a year after the leaks.
Might just be a living ship thats more bob ross style impressionistic than actual detailed. Carrots? no those are people. and sometimes trees.
As a long term Traveller, this [rumoured] long-hidden race has done a fabulous job of staying hidden.
Nevertheless, I’m intrigued by their existence & how & where they’ve hidden so well for so long.
Perhaps they are the reason every single inhabited planetoid is littered with weird conical clones of ‘Damaged Machinery’
So I’m full of curiosity now. Are these beings related to the Korvax or are they entirely separate? Are they somehow connected to the robotic species one might encounter in ‘empty’ star systems? Is this emergence going to be incorporated into NMS cannon as a tweek following a typical Atlas reset? Perhaps they were simply hidden from view through coded camouflage by the simulation itself?
Looks like I’d better get my new save, (which just so happens to have a newer robotic character), up to spec so I can enjoy this new chapter.
They were on a working visa to the World of Glass that expired and they were too afraid to try and leave in case they got charged for overstaying their visit and working without the proper permits.
Until we see the update, I’m not sure what to think of the new race. It mentions avatars…so I am assuming those robots in the images are us, with new player pieces. Staff…new weapon type (replaces gun)
I really think these new robots will be player made, from echoes collected…to what extent I don’t know.
I see that the mag removed the large image from its article. But they left it in the article “card” at the bottom of their home page. It looks small, but if you open that small image in its own tab, you get a 1920x1080p image.
I darkened it a bit, added some contrast, and sharpened it a little. Nice No Man’s Sky 2023 Anniversary wallpaper.
By the way, I see chunks of “something” seeming to fall from the Atlas logo at center (as though it’s disintegrating?) Hmm.

There’s a prime example of clickbaiter. He makes speculations that are way off the mark, shows rumors or he’s showing people how to do annoying shit … Plus he just annoys the crap out of me.
Even if magically right this time…mostly never is.
Plus did I mention he annoys the crap out of me lol
And then the next day you’ll find people who’ve watched only those videos get angry at HG for their “biggest ever update” not being their biggest ever despite them never promising anything of the sort ’ ^ _ ^
Just gotta remind ourselves they’re a vocal minority who pin too much hope on their video’d games.
Yea, I have to admit that he is my most disliked content creator of NMS too. I’ve seen a few of his videos and I cannot stand his approach to creating content. Cant help but feel he’s too desperate for the views as i watched. He was also desperately, and obviously, trying to stir up drama during the time when we got the “settings” update just for views and comments. I mean, absolutely just saying the wildest things to stir up comments and views even if it makes the game and developers look bad. To me, i wouldn’t even be friends with someone like that in real life. Guy would probably sell out his friends and kick his grandma if it meant he could gain a follower.
I suspect it was written by the person expecting it to go out before the update, then found out it was supposed to go out the same day as the update, and it got pulled.
