Yesterday I was meaning to make a post, something along the lines of “no guesses on what the emoji is gonna be.”
Missed opportunities, like moths in the night.
An emoji on a frickin saturday though? Have we broken new ground? I’m guessing they just decided, something along the lines of, "hey we got the big bugs gutted out, we’ll be ready to drop soon as, lets let everyone know by tweeting the Emoji out now "

It being named Omega is a bit disconcerting for me though.

Finally got my sound working thru the Steam Deck dock. Much better. Now I can play on TV though the look is a bit 
Anyway, it seems the tier progression for the optional Research Projects is not progressing properly. Each tier corresponds to the specific RV world but only tier 1 is progressing…
And finding some of these critters, especially rarer underground ones, is like hitting one loot box after another hoping the next will generate what I need.

The symbol for “Resistance” (ohm) is an omega.
Resistance to the Atlas?
I seriously doubt that it means “the end” as in “alpha and omega.”

It’s certainly a layered title, as they usually are. It’s the end of the current story arc (if they stick to 4 parts), Omega can also refer to a monotheistic Deity. Meeting the end, your maker, etc.
Void Mother is resisting the Omega. Omega is also the symbol of resistance. Atlas would like to kindly remind everyone it is the Alpha AND Omega and pay no mind to the Void.
All very good stuff 
Anyone got anything more to add to the Omega Onion?
(p.s I have not seen the apparent story stuff that some are reporting from Expedition 12, so I might already be wrong about all of this

This was unused tech but I assume that you could repackage existing tech and it would show up in the selection list to take back.
Cargo inventory did not include the containers.
Settled on just these two items.
Had to Accept a second time.
Not sure if it included two Containers and a crashed ship but what they came up with was added to my old units, nanites, and quicksilver totals of my main save.
On the receiving end.
I like the new spaceship. Checked it for decals and noticed that when the model part was flipped for the other side that it messed with the Caution decal.

This makes me think they will give as the ability to add decals to our ships in this update, the pink and blue graphic seems really out of place, like it was added to the ship

It’s possible that I’ve just never notice. I’ve written this up for the zendesk and thought I’d mention it here.
When I play an expedition, I hide any system in the Discovery/Visited System list that I haven’t actually visited. A short list makes it easier to find resources on planets.
Having completed Omega in experimental I found that the only systems that remained in the list for my main save were those from the Omega expedition.

One of the last updates to Steam Experimental, changed the requirements for the Chair to use Carbon instead, due to a bug that made completing the milestone impossible.

On my second run. First time started the expedition on the Anomaly. This time started a new save.

You can get it regularly, because it is part of the experimental update, not specifically part of the expedition.

Not all inventories are included as you said, I have noticed the same, with Containers and likely some other inventories not being counted. Any ships you had, do not get full value either, so if you really wish to make a profit, best to scrap/sell/package everything and take whatever you wish to keep back with you.
Another thing you can do when starting on the Anomaly, is to go back to that terminal after reaching the Anomaly in the expedition. It will then allow you to do Equipment Synthesis:
Basically allows for a Carbon Copy of your MT and/or Starship from the save you started the expedition on. This does actually cost you Nanites. Of course after completion, you get either/both back the way they were initially.
Twitch Rewards are not available during the expedition, but Expedition Rewards are. Any claims made, will become available again after completion. Ship rewards do cost Nanites here as well though.
Companions and Mission Critical items can not be taken back to main save. bases you made do stay.

Chairs normally use star silk which can be kinda difficult to find. I was surprised when it was not required
