Dreamer Extraction- July 20th, Concluded - Galactic Atlas Website Launch

To keep things on track especially @kyle-culver, these words from Emily direct from her interviews are a nice reminder of what we’re trying to do, stimulate her memories through recognition of familiar words and images in her life. Keep things simple and concise. Burn them into our brains!

This is a start the Game detectives site wiki.

My RAW notes posted in summary below:
Sources from all sorts of places across CSD, Reddit and elsewhere. It may be confusing but the transcripts are there. Most of it has been simplified in above links very well.

Her bracelet was made by her mother, and she would place it near them to protect them when they went to sleep. It sounds like they were fleeing from an abuser, so Eun may be extremely hesitant to be trusting. She loves the market, the sounds of people and liveliness, and the smell of food being prepared. She takes shiny giant bugs as signs of good luck.

She likes to explore.

Never hurt someone, but has thought of killing someone often. Sometimes lied. Everything she’s done has been for self-preservation.

CSD was requested to take photos of objects/places related to strong memories in her journal and compile them into a collage to submit on Reddit.

Some of her friends stopped talking to her after she went to the United States. She still speaks with her brother from time to time, and she grew up in Jeonju, South Korea. She became a US citizen to try and make a better future for her and her brother, but her brother didn’t seem to share that mindset.

She’s been a US citizen for almost 8 years.

Her mother had a wristwatch collection, and she took good care of her and her brother when her father was away. Her mother died 12 years ago. Her mother was also interested in clockwork mechanisms, like building grandfather clocks. She seems to have picked this up from her grandfather, as they would take apart old watches and clocks to see how they worked.

Her mother’s interest in watches inspired Eun Ha to become an engineer. Eun Ha still owns one of her grandfather’s old watches, and you can see the gears moving inside it.

She doesn’t like thunderstorms, as they remind her of the time her father locked her and her mother out during one. She hates her father because he was largely absent, and only really interested in her and her brother when they needed to be grounded.

Has lied sometimes.
Never hurt anyone.
Thought of killing someone often.
Everything I did I did for self preservartion.

Lack of goals.
Needs strong guidance.

Here’s my opinion of the 7 most importand events for Eun Ha

Train station

Willow tree

Starry night sky

Loves the Market, full of people, full of life. The smells.

Giant shiny bug a sign of goodluck.

Name in dusty mirror

Kissed her bracelet

Wishing well

I wish I had the time to participate as I would like this weekend… since I won’t have it, I’ll still throw my help in as best I can.

I did some research on the name… For starters Kwan Eun Ha is a female Korean name. Kwan (Surname) = authority or power Eun Ha or Eun-ha (given name) = Milky Way Galaxy

Don’t everyone concentrate on it but I would say the starry night and/or her name (possibly written in Korean) in dust on an old looking mirror might be helpful in getting an emotional response from Eun Ha.

Additionally, those items which drew emotional responses in her writings would probably be the things that would best help us now.

CONNECTION STARTED
Eun Ha :
Who’s there?
You :
Hi there Eun Ha. I’m Kyle. A friend of Emily’s. How are you?
Eun Ha :
I’m okay.
Eun Ha :
Did she send you?
You :
Yes. Emily sent me to help you.
Eun Ha :
How?
You :
Myself and the rest of CSD are trying to get you out of the simulation you’re stuck in.
You :
Where are you living now?
Eun Ha :
Are there a lot of you?
Eun Ha :
Nowhere. It’s nothing, here.
You :
More than you or I know! They care about you a great deal.
Eun Ha :
That’s sort of freaky.
You :
That doesn’t sound very pleasant. We’re using your memories to reconstruct your mind to help you get out of the simulation. Do you remember your bracelet?
Eun Ha :
Yes. I remember Emily brought me a collage with pictures of bracelets like it, not too long ago when I was feeling really badly.
You :
Did it make you feel better?
You :
It was the CSD that made the collage
Eun Ha :
Yes, a lot better… It was strange, seeing that so many people I had never met cared enough to do that.
Eun Ha :
Thank you for doing that for me. It really means more than you could know.
You :
That’s wonderful to hear! And we’re doing all we can to help you now. Do you recall where you live outside the simulation?
You :
Or can you tell me more about your brother?
Eun Ha :
I moved a lot in the past few months, and my memories are sort of vague…
Eun Ha :
I’m not close with him any more
Eun Ha :
I wish that we could just hang out like when we were kids. I miss that.
You :
What were some things you guys did back then?
Eun Ha :
We liked to play around the house. Hide and seek was fun, but he would sometimes get so dirty that our mother would have to scrub him all over with a brush and the hose before she would let him come inside.
You :
Haha. That sounds like a fond memory.
Eun Ha :
Like I said. I miss that.
You :
When you get out you could reconnect with him. We can help, but we need to know: do you remember how you got into W/ARE.
Eun Ha :
How about you? Do you have any brothers or sisters?
You :
I have two brothers and a sister. We also played hide and seek. It was lots of fun! We even played in our local parks.
Eun Ha :
Two brothers and a sister? You must have had a really loud home.
You :
Actually it was. Had a falling out with my older brother several years ago. But we made amends recently. Life is too short not to love.
Eun Ha :
I can appreciate that. Life certainly feels short these days.
You :
Does anyone else visit you here? How did you find yourself in here?
You :
Sorry to be so direct.
Eun Ha :
No, the only visitor I’ve had is Emily. I just woke up like this. I thought I had died, for the longest time. It was awful.
You :
Is there anything you remember before entering the simulation? Anything related to the W/ARE facility?
Eun Ha :
No.
Eun Ha :
The connection is starting to get bad.
You :
Hang in there Eun Ha! We’re here for you!
You :
Myself and all of CSD are trying to get you home and back to your brother.
You :
Anything you’d like to say before we get cut off?
Eun Ha :
It doesn’t matter what I say.

Eun Ha :
Ha! Not at all.
Emily :
May I ask why?
Eun Ha :
He’s a man who doesn’t deserve the title of ‘father’. He was there when he felt like it… The only times that he was interested in us was when we needed to be grounded.
Emily :
Was he always like that?
Eun Ha :
Pretty much, yeah…
Emily :
Are you okay?
Eun Ha :
I’m just angry, I’m sorry.
Eun Ha :
I think I’ll go.

Oh, okay.

Eun Ha :
It all feels like deja vu.

What do you mean?

Me and my mom. Under a tree, while it’s raining outside.
Simulation Paused
Emily :
But why is she scared? She was with her mom, what could have gone wrong?
You :
How did that happen?
Simulation Resumed

What happened for you two to get stuck outside like that?

My dad…
Eun Ha :
He’s the worst person to ever set foot on this earth.

That’s a harsh judgement.
Eun Ha :
Well deserved, though.

Wow… what should we say? Do you want to investigate her father a bit more?

Yes

He was only around when he felt like it…
Emily :
I’m sorry about that.
Eun Ha :
It’s okay. I’ve moved on.
Emily :
Is he the one that left you outside with your mother?
Eun Ha :
Yes… He and my mom had an argument.
Eun Ha :
She went outside to take a walk… and I followed her.
Eun Ha :
When we came back, it was already raining… And he locked the door. We didn’t have our keys, we never thought he would do something like that.
Eun Ha :
I still remember his face through the window, scowling at us with disgust. I hated him.
Emily :
That’s how you wound up under a tree? Protecting yourselves from the storm?
Eun Ha :
Yes. I was young. The sound of it all scared me so much that my mother’s arms were not enough to make me feel safe.
Emily :
That must’ve been a terrible experience.
Eun Ha :
It was. But then my mother left him. She brought me with her and we moved to the other side of the city. Until…
Eun Ha :
You know the rest of the story.
Emily :
I’m terribly sorry…
Emily :
I’ll let you go now.
Eun Ha :
Okay…
Eun Ha :
Thank you for being nice and for listening to me.
Emily :
My pleasure.
Eun Ha :
I’ll see you around?
Emily :
Definitely.
Eun Ha :
Okay.
Eun Ha :
Goodbye.
Emily :
Goodbye.
