Too bad nothing seems to help, I honestly feel for you!
On PC it is even enough to just give yourself a single recipe to get it all triggered. On PS4 however this is not possible without paying for a tool and knowing what to do.
Only thing left I can think of, is to have someone else, who is able to craft any of the missing stuff, give one of the resulting products to you in a MP session. Perhaps this will then trigger something to finally wake up?
Or maybe have them give a Heart of the Sun to at least unlock Remembrance. You’d still miss out on the Star Seed, but it’s something at least.
Either way, I would certainly report it, as this has needed fixing for quite a while now.
I agree it felt somewhat anti-climatic, similar to finishing the Artemis quest. It seems like the center shouldn’t even be a goal at all. Maybe it fits the lore, not even sure, where we are given examples to strive for knowledge or whatever other gain we please, just to find out it will never truly matter. What does matter however, is the game continuously breaking on us, preventing us from participating.
I have an old save backed up from 2017 (about 400 hrs). It actually loads, but I can right away see how it broke pretty much all I had been working on. Not even willing to attempt ‘fixing’ it or try any quests/story that has been offered since. It’s just not worth it, with all I cared about and put my heart in, being ruined.
Speaking of the Artemis quest, combine the story with people begging for a Switch release of NMS. After putting Artemis in the simulator, we are later able to interact with him and we discover he is existing in a condensed version of NMS running on the Switch.
But seriously, yes, I finally deleted my first save file on PC. If I loaded it up, OMG. So broken.
Not an expert, but I often talk to some colleagues who are developers, and their job specifically is to calculate all possible combinations of how users could go through lengthy procedures. The goals is that enterprises want to be sure they covered ALL the cases. (Think: ordering from an international online store, changing your order, filling address / payment / refund forms, etc.)
Some errors only surface for very specific combinations (“old mac browser + special characters in product name + user clicks button + wireless slow”) that no tester would ever think of. This level of testing is done automated (a “macro” that clicks all combinations of buttons every night and records possible errors).
And in NMS, there are more possible combinations… plus, automating a game satisfaction test is a nightmare…

(By the way, why are so many calling Artemis “he”? To me this name sounds unequivocally female. NASA even named the current moon project Artemis because, after the masculine Apollo, they wanted something feminine for the first woman on the moon.)
Yes. Soul Engine is from the Mind Arc. But it looks like a seed which makes it confusing…for me anyway.
As for Atremis, I guess it sounds male to me even though I know Atremis is female in mythology. This is one reason I would like to see a more definite female-type character. But, that is difficult when it comes to alien faces and body shapes. I mean, we only know the human idea of female. So I wear the armor that looks like boobs and chose the alien head with “hair clips”
After having reset the simulation i found out my atlas path is bugged im hoping to find a fix for after more then 300 hours in, starting again isnt really an option to me.
Most players reset the simulation get 10 seeds during gameplay, birth there own star and after reset the atlas is no longer path present in atlas stations.
Here is me:
Reset, check! 10 seeds? I got 0! Birth my own star? Nope, and after the reset the atlas (the big red orb) is still present in every single atlas station i visit after the reset.
The atlas path quest itself disappeared from my log, it comes back on occasion, but disappeares again before i can get to an atlas station.
Every now and then i get to a building where u open a door with atlas pass V3 and behind it there is something that needs a remembrance? For whatever reason.
I cant do a thing here since i cant craft a “heart of the sun” (which is required for remembrance)
I have 0 seeds, also asked for help on facebook groups, but so far no luck
The main lore quests are (in my opinion) a tangled mess.
I believe if you talk to polo or Nada in the Anomaly you can be directed back on to the Atlas path where you will receive (or perhaps have already received?) the recipes/blueprints for each of the seeds.
Have you done the Artemis, Null, and Apollo, parts of the Lore quests?

Unfortunately I don’t know how to reactivate the Atlas Path questline, hopefully someone will be able to help you. I kinda recall something previously about it bugging out on some people when doing the reset, though I thought they fixed that.
I can help clear up the seeds a bit though. Pre-Next, the Atlas Path gave you an Atlas Stone object at each station, all of which you needed to submit together at the final station. Now they no longer give you an object, but blueprints so you can craft the seed object yourself. This is essentially a single object that each new blueprint “levels up”, until the “Heart Of The Sun” seed needed at the final station.
I fear that is what has happened here.
