I went for a more, humble approach, with my expedition rest stop. I’d fix the fallen banner but I’m too lazy to go get tech modules and learn the blueprint for the step ladder.
I’ve been spending the afternoon just flying to other peoples bases that have interesting names. Lots of nice works in progress near me on Usaling.

Going to miss my Expedition home from Singularity </3
The backwards Irish flag was unintentional but a happy accident. They were the only two flags I had and didn’t notice their proximity until I moved the build cam away from the tops of the canopy :3

I couldn’t get this effect if I wanted it on purpose, but for you, the compression did that by itself?

The effect is three different runs of the same tour overlayed and only syncing up slightly. It was somewhat distracting but still watchable and you could make out the messages as they came up before uploading. But the compression seems to have had the same effect as it does on confetti etc in videos. Too much subtle little changes happening all turned to pixel mush '^ _ ^ I might see if I can reupload in 4k @ _ @

To heal my soul after building a Gek First Spawn Nazi Factory I’ve decided to build an outdoor Theatre for Vy’Keen poetry honouring great ancestors!

Got around to the seating so that lovers of Vy’Keen poetry may attend secret performances of banned prose about Nal and other great ancestors.
Maybe went a bit overboard, seating capacity is approximately 736 XD
I cut in more step segments just to bring it down a bit (was nearly 900 initially) as I’m in the 2000 parts threshold and have yet to start decorating '^ _ ^
Going to clean up the cliff side walkway and then do the rest of the build in-game as I find it easier to decorate interior/exteriors in-game (so far all architectural stuff done in app)
Edit: I was going to leave it until tomorrow but I can’t help myself, started on the stage deco, will also have a “green room” in the back for off-beat poets ^ _ ^

We have statues but what we need now are busts; Vy’Keen heads would make for grand busts! Base building definitely needs more Vy’Keen items, the gek get tonnes of posters and a statue, and they used to be the absolute worst! XD I think thats why I went with Gek for my first themed base/app build. Gotta have a giant gek statue or three.

Gib Busts or Go Bust, that’s what I’ll be telling Hello Games in my manifesto.
Audience participation led pankration is encouraged at all Vy’Keen recitals.
Although the Theatre was originally built to highlight the Vy’Keen arts we take an “All Poems Considered” stance and have allowed Vogan laureate’s to perform.
However due to the high rates of suicide and insanity caused by the amateur circuit, we cannot allow any Vogan Poet that has not mastered their craft to perform. Guild approval will be required and our creative planners will need to see and approve any planned readings.
Any Vogan caught going off script and in to the realms of automatic writing will be met with the full force of the Vy’Keen-At-Words Institute for Death & Censorship.
However we will allow up and coming Vogan poets to practice and perform material to their peers in our green room, so long as they are kept from clambering up on stage to a hot mic. Which we have yet to be able to prevent. Quick on their feet surprisingly, the Vogans. Also doesnt help the green room is right by the stage.

Progress continues on the Vy’keen Amphitheatre.
I finally got around to adding the planned picnic area up front and fixing the cliffside walkway I’d been ignoring for a few days.
Went to take an aerial view and realised I am accidentally building a tortoise
