So the remaining bit here is: 5MUILIH3+TOKEN0540B122DC6F. I’ll just throw some ideas out here
You cant just put + in a URL as far as I remember, unless it is part of a ? query. So as far as I know it has to be encoded as %2B. But I think the more plausible option is that this is some sort of a puzzle that consists of multiple parts:
5MUILIH3, TOKEN0540B122DC6F
0540B122DC6F - could be a HEX number (5775407897711 in DEC).
TOKEN might have to be replaced by something? Maybe the bit from the other url I will mention in the next section.
5MUILIH3 - no idea. cipher?
0x is the proper way that HEX numbers used to be started as when written.
c0000001 in HEX is
3221225473 in DEC,
3104110452163 in OCT,
probably nothing important in ASCII,
Ill just finish with saying that the clyp.it URL format seems to be something like:
ffqeb21b
Seems to be 8 characters/letters. Not sure if the length is variable.
I dunno maybe you just combine it and do something it:
5MUILIH3 + c0000001 + 0540B122DC6F
I dunno - play around guys. This is all I got atm
These might be useful:
This is getting pretty advanced for me hahaha, definitely something to crack here. This seems less and less like a prankster. Maybe someone on PC can look up his username and see what it turns up?
EDIT: On THEREACTIONFACTION’s stream, he typed in these characters: 014EF4E33137419141DD what they mean, IDK.
The first part of the clyp.it links to a real file: https://clyp.it/5MUILIH3 (403 - not permitted as opposed to 404)
The second part is saying to use the token: 0540B122DC6F
which would be in the format ?token=0540B122DC6F,
leading to: https://clyp.it/5MUILIH3?token=0540B122DC6F
This isn’t a valid token as they are in a format the same length and type as the following:
[ ?token=b99a468c0ac4338e6c303adbd9e0294a ]
However, the ‘token provided’ could be viewed as NMS co-ordinates: 0540:B122:DC6F
Someone on NMS PC could check it out if they want, but don’t be surprised if there is nothing there…
the only connection to this guy is that he has the remix 65dos music he was using it on the 5th, and the rare tapes the mods got did not go public until the 8th. Thats the only connection this guy has. There is only the remix songs from the mysterious tapes. There is no way he could have used it on the 5th unless he was sent a tape
ok i have a recording of the link in his description i never realized i had it but my pc was recording when i played it a few days ago i will upload unlisted so you guys can have it, be right back
@SpaceyOne… I gave the description of how Clyp.it works above, and how the token is the wrong length to work for the restricted file. The only thing is the fact his token is in the format of NMS co-ords… go there if you want, but this guy appears to be trolling people. I Just posted the details of how his post would work in the clyp.it format to stop people wasting their time with trying to ‘decode’ it.
A question mark starts a query for the server to use. So something like clipit.com?q=5
Means you are going to clipit.com but when handling the request the server can decipher that q is 5 and maybe internally q is used to mean query so you would be searching for something. This is just an example - your url basicly just leads to clipy.com homepage.
But the big question is how did this guy get a recording saying: “16 of 16” and streamed it about 3 days before the first tapes were released? Man this is all just a big mess lol.
Everyone else showed their tapes. They were identical save for the number on them. Both side A and B were also identical, as the only word found in the spectrographs of all available tapes was “portal”.
