Weekend event irritation: I found a very wide “Landing Sequence Unavailable” area around buildings, monuments, portals, etc. in the weekend system.
I applaud that for the specific locations and planet(s) used for the weekend event, but why everywhere in the system? Or is that a bug? [I’m using my Living Ship, if that makes a difference.]
The Tech Modules you find ‘floating’ are the ones that are companion to a Damaged Technology unit. (These were introduced during one of last year’s updates).
This ‘floating’ only happens on hills or undulating terrain & is something to do with proximity placement to the Damaged Technology they are paired with.
The Tech Modules that are on their own are still always buried properly.
I’ve found landing my ship quite inconvenient recently & have resorted to spamming the ‘land’ button as I circle slowly and just land on whatever. My (customised) S class Radiant Pillar BC1, my orb exotic & my Living Ship all gave problems trying to land.
I noticed the same screenshot from @sheralmyst, although @MacForADay’s video did not show the issue. Not quite sure what causes it and the issue seems inconsistent with the several reports I have seen, sometimes bugging, sometimes not. Could possibly be dependant on getting the required Pugneum fully or partly ahead of time, instead of getting the full amount once tasked to do so.
That was a theory of mine also, as I had Pugneum store already and just went through the option selection to complete the mission immediately. [PC - Normal - Steam]
Maybe someone on youtube? Or maybe look in the files? I had a quick grep but I guess you have to unpack beforehand, so found nothing. Google didn’t help either.
And Tethys stated he was looking for a clandestine operation in a factory that shifts from world to world to avoid the sentinels finding it.
He spent time as a Vy’Keen, it all sounds like the apperance modifier.
40 sweetroot.
Extremely hot planet.
Crashed freighter 1000 units East of the destination portal gave 2 Salvage Frigate modules.
EDIT: Also Hostile Sentinels.
