I think I found my favorite planet!
It features:
-Long, stark blue rivers
-Feather-tailed carnivorous dinosaurs
-Sharp-winged butterflies
-Deep purple plants, trees, and fauna
-Low valleys and tall dark blue and white mountains
-Bright orange and red grass
The only gripe is I can’t find any fish in the rivers. :C

Finding Calium
Notice how Calium looks like the blob stuff in the Abandoned Buildings. Does anyone know if it is the same? And if so, what does it mean?

You should have started your own thread for this. It’s special - thought provoking, and unusual. But it gets lost in here.
I agree it will get buried here, but I don’t see a need for a separate topic. I’ll give it some thought though 
Hmm. It’s not really a question of a “need” for a separate topic. You’ve put a lot of effort into making something interesting and different. And the whole point of posting it is so people who are interested can see it. And if it’s drowned in dozens of more or less random screenshots, they won’t.
Does it “need” a separate thread? Probably not. Does it “want” a separate thread? Definitely.

Good. There are thousands of videos out there of “this is me playing No Man’s Sky”. Few of them say anything different, and even fewer show any real understanding of the game.
Every now and then, someone takes the trouble to produce something with a bit more depth. And those productions deserve special attention.
Oh! Hadn’t made the connection but it that is true I will shoot they all next time I find some. Normally I like to leave a few plants and minerals alone… a sort of conservation thing…you know… not robbing the planet. But if Calium is that horrid stuff then I will kill it all!!!

Hey Kyle, loved your first zoomed in, missed the second episode, have I missed the third? I’m on mobile presently and youtube is NOT its friend. Hopefully I’ll have something for the fourth episode
