Update 1.38 - Live - Bug Reporting/Discussion

I was having problems but not so much now as long as I stockpile it when I do see it. Also I find it for sale at all terminals, but in small quantities.

The problem is when closing the game, restarting and going back to those same vendors they are at zero T9.
I do not know when the terminals will reset, It has been over 12 hours, out of the game and checked the terminal
is at -45 T9 on my freighter.

While its rare(er) on its own now, you can get it by mining plutonium after you scan it.

Unfortunately 1.37 still does not fix the missing glyph bug.

I’m missing the 11th glyph. I have two alien travelers in reach, so after 1.37 I visited everyone of them to get glyph locations, but each time I get to the location and go trough the dialogs I get nothing after the “Extrac glyph” button… Still no 11th glyph…

That is correct, you do that on dead worlds mining stone, etc which has to be done if you expect to live.
Without T9 you can not play this game,
When mining and getting T9 you get about 1% T9 for each amount of resource you mine.

the spiral has begun…

So we need to stay off dead worlds unless we’ve got bulk supplies…? Damn. They were my fuel stops.

I thought the T9 frequency was good. Not everywhere but required a bit of looking about. I can’t understand why it’s been fiddled with. I was good that you got some in scanned Plutonium.

BTW; Does T9 regrow now? Been wondering for a while if the plant resources regrew over time as I’m never around long enough to see.

Before 1.3 it did now don’t know.
Resources as PU would, had a base with PU outside
90 amount, everyday it would be back, twas nice to have it outside my door, lol

Yeah, those were the days.
Replenished goodies at your door. Basic commerce.
Chilled out cruisiness.
Somehow things have become a hectic scramble.

It’s a pity.

Hmmm, I still find T9 on dead worlds though VERY rarely, sometimes I come across dead planets full of it, though 99 times out of 100 theres none there.

As for buying t9, I can buy it from trading posts and shelters on planet, usually at 100-200 a go. I agree T9 is definitely a lot rarer than before, but my experience hasnt proved as difficult as yours.

I’m having a similar experience in survival mode, in that EVERY paradise/lush/etc planet I’ve landed on, every single one, since 1.3, has been full of gravatino orbs and deadly sentinels. I thought maybe it was a new survival mode thing, but people have gotten back to me and said they find mostly calm sentinels on their paradise planets in their survival games.

So either I’ve hit some CRAZY rare bug unique to me, or I’m just having rotten luck with the algorithm. Maybe it’s the same issue with you and t9?

To test the T9 issue, land at a trading post, buy all the T9 you can.
Save, Close the game.
Restart and check if T9 is available.

P.S. i’m getting T9, nor will I state how I’m getting it.

This morning was the 3rd time i bought around 400 T9 at trading post. (not in the same day) and i don’t have trouble to collect T9, usually on cold planet. I’m in normal mode.

I think @zsigmond got himself in a Thamiumless corner of the galaxy… Still, some traders carry it where he’s at. And the news is they have added persistence to trading. I don’t think that is a bug, but an improvement, really.
Not having your actions reset by logging off is a bugfix…

I named one planet T9 Bounty because I was running across the stuff in clusters of about 7-10 plants at a time, then I moved about 1/4 way around the planet and couldn’t find any. Someone in the future will maybe land there, in the wrong area, and be really mad at me.

You guys buy your T9? I usually get my stockpiles of T9 by mining asteroids, or finding it on planets. How much do you guys carry with you, and what do you use it for?

T9 is used to keep yourself alive.
T9 is used to make warp cells.

If you do not have T9 you die
if you do not have T9 you can not explore.

Game over

update: no matter what outpost I go to it is empty of T9 and traders have zero also

Update:
Went to a galaxy far far away
Trading post had small amount, traders were at zero

Tried another galaxy same issue.

Submitted bug report

Asteroid mining seems to be the most ready source of T9 now. I collect what I can off planets and vendors and play a 10 minute game of Asteroids! every now and again and haven’t had too much problem, but yeah a little more planet-side T9 would be preferable.

In the old times, all asteroids were made of the stuff… They then turned to iron. And our engines took it… which is weird. But now, you can find asteroids made of all kinds of stuff… Guess T9, too.

I have not seen anyone mention it yet, so I am throwing it out there. Crashed freighters require a bunch of iron to unlock the storage units… I just ran into this on 1.37.

There better be something good in these bad boys for that cost of repair. SMH

Omg ! They listen  I’ve been waiting on the free look inside the ship for such a long time (since the beginning in fact). I’m probably not the only one, but I’ve send a suggestion some months ago to use the alt key to look around too. I like to think that I’ve contributed to this lol.
