I’ll leave my Steam on with auto-updates high-priority enabled… Dunno if you could contact someone and have the download completed when you get there. 
Yeah I’m hoping my PS4 will start the download, I left it on just in case I’ll be relying on you guys to pop in to @Mad-Hatter’s thread and give some impressions when you take a lunch break from the simulation!
One thing that really rubbed me the wrong way with NMS updates (Till now) was that I wanted to be a Trader…have a large hauler and roll in the big bucks hauling and trading between systems. That turned out to be fruitless as you could only buy a few of an item from other ships or space stations. Then they came out with bases…home base…I could really care less (I did not want to be bound to a planet or system) but… a freighter… that made it interesting. And the whole farming aspect(OMG)… OH I don’t want to cuss on ETARC, but COME ON! I wanted to play Buck Rogers… not flipping Roy Rogers. I know, I see how lucrative it can be… but i just couldnt bring myself to invest that much time in that aspect. So the trading options now seem to be opening up and that is a welcome change for me. </end rant>
But I am glad this is changing. I couldn’t tell you how many times I landed on the edge of a cliff and the auto-eject threw me over.

It is going to be weird though. Those first few times of “why didn’t I hop out when I landed? Did the game glitch, what’s going on… oh yeah.” pushes square, feels stupid

Feeling your pain. My current ship is so tall it was throwing me off of every landing plarform. Not fun at the big trading posts, lol
