Im excited to get new players into no man’s sky with fresh views on the game, but Xbox players can’t fully 100% appreciate the game with out have playing the vanilla version, life was so much harder lol. On another note who thinks the update will drop sooer than the game? If the update will be available for Xbox players then it only makes sense it will drop before the Xbox release? What’s your guys thoughts?

Most games these days already have an update ready before you get the wrapper off the box. It makes sense that the update will be ready before release. It would be nice for those of us who have been here all along to get it first.

You kind of can experience the first few months of the game by using the vintage filter in photo mode

Ya I agree, we paid full price for a game that was hardly even agame apon release then had to wait for an update go thru arg’s an work for more updates lol, not being mean in away but I think we as a community now deserve this update before hand, we can play test it aleast to work out the bugs for new upcoming csd explorers!

When you think about it, since the Xbox version will include NEXT, that update will be ready long before it is available since they have to give the data to the publisher to put it on the disc.

The disk hold just the base game all updates will be available online.

Ya I imagine the update will come sooner than July but that’s my opinion, it might not but I don’t see them keeping the arg going till August unless the take a month break from it. An obviously reward for finishing update more atlas passes or update.

Not to encourage going off topic, but yes, Legion is an amazingly written TV show!
Back on topic, the gamestop date isn’t at an end of a month like usual. And they got alot of negative publicity on NMS’ launch due to many reasons so they might want to be accurate on the date this time. This may or may not mean anything, but that date “could” actually be right. The incentive is there.

Not sure if you were implying this or are aware but you can use filters for play (not just in photo-mode)… Like I said you might have meant the same thing
