Stuff is happening (STATUS updates-Myriad-W/ARE-NEXT)

It might be ok with pro but, honestly many vr games look amazing on base PS4 it all depends on the optimization.

Anyone know what Sony’s project name for PSVR was during development?

That’s right - Project Morpheus…

I heard that online last night, so it must be true lol.

I really hope the VR Gear is just a side option of the next update…

Anyone knows the price of a VR device? that’s right 400 box.

In U.K. You can pick up a PSVR headset for under £200. The offer started yesterday I think…

I will be interested to find out what offers on PlayStation plus are available this month…

How lucky you guys are… is there any other device that is working with the ps4pro system?

I agree, Mac may be a bit overenthusiastic, hopefully he is right. We’ll see in a few hours lol…

Sounds like PSVR support could be included in this patch. I owned one - for about two hours.

Set it up, installed DriveClub VR, played for ten minutes, vomited, ended up with vertigo for months. Was devastated as (a) it was amazing and (b) I realised I didn’t have the constitution for VR :frowning:

NMS is a lot more sedate though so could be worth a gamble to buy a new one. If it’s not, expect a vomit-flecked PSVR helmet appearing on eBay soon.

Imagine the body response during a dog fight in space. The inner ear will become crazy :stuck_out_tongue:

As far as I was aware, it was an Ethereum address.

The sad thing was it was a culmination of a 30 year old dream. Back in 1989/1990 a technology company released a couple of Virtual Reality arcade games and me and my pals travelled miles to have a go. It was a fighter jet game complete with VR helmet, joystick and 1989 era graphics. Ever since then I’d dreamt of the day VR would become mainstream.

Disappointed would be an understatement. I genuinely don’t understand how some people can handle VR and some can’t.

I have a friend who gets sick playing regular NMS, so I don’t think they’re going to be playing the VR version any time soon. lol

Luckily I’ve never had motion sickness and have tried VR many times with no problems. I will be getting PSVR in future I think. People just need to man up lol…

Seriousl though, my wife gets motion sickness if she just looks behind her into the back of the car while driving, so I do understand the problems. It’s just I’ve been very lucky not to suffer from them.

I’m jealous :frowning: It should be ok for NMS though (fingers crossed!)

Update or not its really exciting to see what happens next.

I can sit here and go over what I would like to see for hours but really all I want right now in the game is what drew me into the game back in 2016 and has kept me playing and that is the wonder the great feeling of landing on a new planet and noticing every single detail and exploring it for hours. I want new and improved planets and of course I want a revamped ocean and new plant life would be awesome as well.
