According to Wolfram Alpha (log2(16e998112) - Wolfram|Alpha), it would be approximately 2^3315660 (it’s not an exact power of two).
Probably obvious, but “Begin sequence -16…” reminds me of the NMS message we got, “LOOP16 UNEXPECTED ERROR: 97C-303N-5884-P”.
there are a lot of ‘16’ referenced in this ARG… over and over and over
It’s become clear the answer lies within 16 Candles. It was Molly Ringwald all along.
OH MY GOD, YOU’RE RIGHT, it all makes sense now!
hey, the radio station is different on wakingtitan.com it was Bogota columbia… but now it’s Republic of Mauritius, anyone else noticed this?
No, it was Mauritus when I checked on Monday, unless it was Bogota on Saturday and changed in between.
ok, wierd… maybe i got mixed up… i swear it was bogota last time i looked.
for anyone interested in the RGB properties of 998112.
Has some interesting Decimal numbers etc, might come in handy later.
The isogram in the Google Analytics tracker is nothing special. You can find more info here:
facepalm I looked it up a bit after posting, which was a bit too late. I wonder whether it’s a complete coincidence, or a weird sense of humour on Google’s part? Either way, it’s irrelevant here, sorry.
Seems like the degradation may be referring to telecommunication:
This seems to fit the theme of this ARG. They might be a client of Myriad with bad reception from the satellite?
from the About section of the Myriad site:
Some of my transmitted material isn’t coming back intact. How can I stop this from happening?
Sending more than one file of material to a single retrieval location can cause the files to overlap and prevent proper restoration for occurring. Please avoid sending more than one material at once, and wait at least 24 hours before sending another request.
Hmmm, does that mean that the reboot is scheduled in 24 hours? This certainly fits the expected time for the website to go live.
I would say " That’s Golden!" -)
If you Google “16.0o E” this pops up:

Looks like a location on the moon maybe? Reminds me of when the NASA website was linked to Myriad to help us find the “discovery” password.
Credit for finding this goes to SteveGamingFR from r/wakingtitan
The position of the words in the title as compared to the normal message is: 312465
If you replace those numbers with the simple cypher letters, we get: t12o65
Converted to hex, that’s: 74 31 32 6f 36 35, or in NMS coordinates: 7431:326f:3635
Unfortunately this coordinate seems to be 3271939.425 ly from the galactic center, 8259 jumps, so probably makes it an invalid coordinate? But I’m not really an expert on NMS coordinates.
Possible that t12o65 is junk data, or has some other use, such as atlas-65.
Yeah, that isn’t a viable coordinate, it would be outside of the galaxy.
