My metatheory is that alternate universes and timelines are leaking into our own, so it’s not suprising that we’re getting weird random nonsense half the time. Everything means something, and sometimes all a number means is the receipt number from a shirt I got dry-cleaned in 1974.
I voted E because it was the only one with no single-digit numbers. Also I like E.
What if the only thing we choose here is the main colour scheme of the final Superlumina site which can be expected to go live right after tomorrow’s radio ad? Haha
I don’t think the voting thing is going to solve any kind of puzzles. It won’t be until process 3 of 3 is done that something might happened. Once again, I think we can’t do much other than hurry up and wait.
Finally caught up on everything that happened. This voting stuff feels more like Lord of the Flies than No Man’s Sky. I don’t really think the pink answer holds up to scrutiny, honestly, though I don’t have a better alternative to suggest yet.
One thing I noticed is the dates from the decoded emails is they seem to be sequences of shifted numbers. 1 and 3, 2 and 4. They remind me of the NMS number puzzles:
Hastings - 1066
Joseon - 1392
Royal society - 1660
Turing - 1912
1066 … 1660 … 6610 ? (“66” shifts to the left each time)
1392 … 1912 … could be 2432 (add 520)?, also considered that the 9 shifts left, but then the 3 becomes 1 and I’m not sure what the next step would be for it…9?
Calculation of differences between the numbers (diff between 1st and 2nd - 2nd and 3rd, then the difference between those):
24-190-2 > 166-188 > 22
117-0-159 > 117-159 > 42
209-3-130 > 206-127 > 79
0-205-245 > 205-40 >165
222-14-22 > 208-8 > 200
42 is the answer to the universe and I like purple
