I’ve been on a tour of that building, but still in danger of going down a rabbit hole, here.

They see the tower but not the one inside. It could just be architects. I mean, the photo that the architect uses, that’s not the actual building, its kinda like the clipart of the building, but its pretty detailed one, somewhat like the one an architect would use as an “artist’s render” of the final building, and while they do see the building, they have no idea who will be using the it, or better termed, who the people inside are. Plus, NMS was originally project skyscraper, or the game engine is skyscraper, no? If the analogy translates, it could pretty much just be referring to Sean, or the entire dev team of NMS. Since they are the architects of this, and while they did have a vision of how they want the game to be, they can’t see us, the people inside

It’s just this stock image of the building with some repetition and displacement glitch effects applied, and not clip art. You can manually copy sections of the building and like em up over the image to get it to look like the one from the site.

I think the point @fort_wort_wort was making was that the picture The Architect used as the basis for their graphics isn’t an actual photograph - it’s a computer rendering of a 3D model. Quite possibly the one the real architects used during the design process - but not a photograph of the real building.

I gotta say - when I saw the picture posted by @the_architect of this building, my immediate reaction was “NMS Sentinel Nest Tower, with inverted colors!” - but of course after looking a little more, the two replicated instances repeated to either side of the middle section and a bit up - they don’t really look like it.
However, someone may have chosen to modify the image in this way, specifically because it reminded them (as it did for me at first) of the sentinel tower.

Not a tower, but it is a representation of a tesseract, and it’s in Paris.
Possibly something to be aware of later in the game.

Also regarding other towers, I was reminded of The Hive in Kew Gardens London, Designed by Wolfgang Buttress. It was apparently originally built for the UK Pavilion at the 2015 Milan Expo. A tower orginally inside another tower maybe? Another link to it. Here’s a pic credit to Jeff Eden RBG Kew:

Ok, I checked again. I believe it is used not only for the thing I linked in my previous answer, but in every red-link-text-that-moves-when-overed-by-mouse…
It’s just a .css style for the web page. I don’t think it means anything specific or important for the ARG.

Author, feed and about pages were find already but good to have reminders for those who understandably wont find needles in a haystack of posts.
I started using the author one instead of 2026 once it was, tis very handy
