Who says Emily is bad? We all know how to lie, and more than half of us would lie to Elizabeth (at least I hope so). It is neither good or bad, but thinking it makes it so?

so A&B bet is hoping the simulation gets it wrong (B only) for 1,001,000
or B only and hoping simulation gets it right (B only) for 1,000,000

tis the last that makes her bad

Thats it @ekult. Or you trust in loop16 efficiency, or not. And Sophia use the term ā€œinfallibleā€.

Hopefully Emily isn’t like Morgan or Ava… and more on the Samsntha side…

Sounds like we trust Loop16 if we trust Sophia, & Sophia is THEMIS
THEMIS: She is described as ā€œ[the Lady] of good counselā€, and is the personification of divine order, fairness, law, natural law, and custom.
I’m choosing B.

B is my choice. Unfortunately it seems to be everyones choice which would suggest the AI would predict this. Humans are pretty predictable.

But Major Sophia DuBois (I know there’s some confusion on the names) explicitly does NOT trust Loop16! ā€œWe have to shut the project down. Pull the plug, Elizabeth. While we still can. If we still can.ā€

it’s not a matter of trusting loop16, it’s a matter of whether loop16 is right or wrong
and sophia thinks it is so right it’s dangerous?

So when calibration 4 opens up, we will have to decided whether or not to keep helping a potentially dangerous AI.

Welp, what could go wrong…tinfoil hat on

Ah yes, two definitions of ā€œtrustā€: do we trust Loop16 to get the prediction right, vs do we trust her not to harm us

Pandora’s Box has already been opened.
Let’s hope for the best, that’s all we can do now.

well, it doesn’t know ā€˜should’, so i don’t think it would intentionally harm us, as in moral questions are its weakness

like the Voight-Kampff machine tortoise scenario
