Did it really get discovered by accident, though? It was a brand new Reddit user that posted the initial find. Who’s to say he wasn’t a plant to get the ball rolling. Still doubt they thought it would be completed so quickly.

Well yeah, it’s assumed it was a prompt from a puppet master, has happened several times throughout the arg (they even broke 4th wall once to let us know there was an issue with billin with google and that “We’re calling them now, wish me luck!” when the map for uploading photos was down on a sunday) but having the rest around the hub made it an easy search for those looking, finding them in the wilds of the 18 quintillion would have been impossible

Well, dropped comm balls are not new in WT and it does the job of linking WT with NMS. I’m looking forward to more in-game (NMS) goodies having relevance to WT. After all, Loop16 and NMS are tightly connected with each other…

Galactic hub got theirs, Reddit got theirs, twitch and discord have been pretty much constants throughout WT, so what’s left?

ETARC itself would count as community engagement as it is part of the narrative, it’s where Emily first appeared and shared her videos, etc etc, though yeah it would be nice if more puppet masters frequented here, give us a leg up over the reddit hordes as I would argue, ETARC is the smallest community (GD would be similar I suppose) of the bunch.
It was a very active place with our very own resident NPC Ham radio enthusiast, Emily, during phase one. Sadly ETARC has not been the same without her for phase 2, like living in someone elses house, it’s strange taking refuge here when the owner isn’t home.

It does appear that there is in game code that is being activated as time for the bad/evil arrives.

I think we do need another part of the ARG to begin here. You are right that we haven’t had anything since the site started and Emily was a “leader” here. I hate Reddit and avoid it at all costs. It’s such a confusing format that requires so much digging to find anything. I prefer the traditional forum style organization like we have.

I’m with you brother! I do everything by mail and courier, I send all my comments here, via mail, to a local business centre and pay them to type them up for me so I don’t have to use ANY of the internet.
I can even use Youtube, I just have to wait for them to mail out VHS recordings of the videos I’d like to see on youtube that week (creative fun hyperbole! But no really, fuck social media 
)

I have a twitter account and an instagram account. Instagram I use to keep in touch with some artists I work with from time to time.
Twitter, I only sign on to see what Graham Linehan is up to. If my name didn’t give it away, he’s one of my personal heroes and it’s nice to be able to reach out and interact with the guy, and he is very engaged with his fan base and down to earth. I dont know if anyone else is on twitter, and I don’t care
