That would be some major change that I think would have been announced somewhere. My guess would be that you got hit by a worm and the freighter just happened to be nearby.

It’s possible. Like I said, I don’t know what happened. I’ve encountered worms occasionally, but I’ve never noticed the extreme vibration leading up to the event - not whilst flying, anyway.

Well, SM did state in his tweet that there are surprises in store…
I would like to draw attention to lore #11 in @DevilinPixy 's spoiler post… @MacForADay also points it out in one of his vids. ( for those who don’t want to search, the lore mentions ruined cities)
Does anyone know, since we are getting QS by using the Dosimeter, is that how we are unlocking the next device, do regular QS missions also count?

I can’t even start the new expeditions and for some reason the QS store seems to think I never finished phase 5 of the last one, even though I have the golden ship and whatever else came with finishing it. (40hrs).
I thought there might be some delay, but no, 2 days later still can’t start a new expidition. I have the last one converted to a normal save and 2 blanks in my saved list. When I click on it, nothing happens. It says “expedition complete” at the top of the expedition section. Any ideas? Asking HG is like talking to a brick wall. edit:spilling

Sounds like it bugged out for you, showing completed. Maybe still seeing the previous one as Expediton somehow, even though it converted?

If your previous Expeditions game has converted tp “normal”, and your new game selection screen is showing “Expedition Completed”, it sounds like you are stuck in the stage where Beachhead is available, but has not yet triggered.

We were all stuck at this point a couple of days ago - but it cleared for most of us.
I have seen reports of similar problems which seem related to internet / server connection problems. I suggest you check your connection. Maybe try again in an hour or so.

Aaaah, that is it. The networking was so wonky in Expeditions, (and Oculus has a big performance bug with flakey wifi) that I put everything behind a firewall and only let some stuff through. As usual, fix one problem, create another. Annoyingly I did think of that this morning, but then forgot by evening.

Found this while flying about during phase 2 and thought it looked interesting. Since I still cannot get Nada to put me onto an Atlas Station, thought I’d take another look. Can’t find the Atlas.
Did set up a base though - temp’s open door base.

Well that makes me nervous. Been unexpectedly delayed from finishing up my water shader mod… put a lot of work into it and would kinda suck if HG themselves beat me to it.

Fortunately, the known tasks look correspondingly easier than the last expedition.

Oh that is DEFINITELY really interesting! That might be some sort of waypoint we might have to visit in the other 2 encrypted milestones, since the glitched name mentions EXPED_S2_MYSTERY3.
Could you try to save edit a myth beacon in, and try to see if it triggers something there? (Do make a backup first!)

Working on some other things at the moment but I’m well placed. Anomalous Research is currently at 70% so hopefully the Myth Beacon will show up soon!
