New files extracted from the satcom site!

I am now hearing that a group of people were joking about selfie sticks in NMS. I believe it was on cobratv, not sure. Apparently SM was listening and this was his response. :laughing:

@Dolnor
Not sure where to post this, but I think I have located the satellite that coincides with the red splotch on the http://satcom-70.com/ page

I guess it would make sense that it’s a Chinese satellite, since W/ARE is based in China. Although, they may not be connected with the Chinese government…

So they used the ground track of an actual satelite, and even one that thematically fits perfectly in the game. Love the detail! Way to go Alice&Smith!

So im quite behind with everything really (real life must come first!) but have been keeping an eye on things… Really dont know if anyone has discovered this already… Checking out the http://uplink.satcom-70.com/dashboard/ I was playing around entering filename searches and tried ‘search myriad’ which yielded this…

Seems to be Latin but ‘google translate’ doesn’t do a great job… Tried french-english which I guess shares some origin with Latin… Maybe someone can get a good translation?.. Then again maybe this is old news :thinking:
The ‘download file’ link yields the Myriad logo file

Does everyone know this already?

Yes. And I’m afraid you have many things to read and/or watch :wink:
(this is not latin and we don’t know what to do with the bold sentence.)

Thanks for the heads-up @kerdorin

Afraid I won’t be doing any catch up, this ARG stuff isn’t well suited to everyone’s lives…

I swear some of those words are Latin, some look French, some look Spanish - has it been considered that this text is a mixture of languages from each of the ‘dreamers’ perhaps?

Some are latin but not all :wink:

@Kryzla
I’m in the same situation: too much going on elsewhere (in the real world) to be able to socialize much with the community.
I’ve been reading through the recent events & as always, am very impressed by the Atlas/Etarc CSD efforts to unravel the mysteries.
Nice work everybody. :+1:

Copy and paste into google and you get a certain type of mashed up language that actual means nothing its actually a skill to write like this apparently

Dont use translate just google and see the results
