Regarding 41: It’s possibly a typing error on their part, the result page says 42 instead of 41. myriad-70.com
It now read 41 on the results page… spooky

Probably we have to get the right number to the highest percentage. So it has to be a coordinated effort. I say 80.

The six number choices form a perfect arithmetic sequence with the exception of the 41 value.
Showing the work here:
16
16+16=32
32+16=48 (not 41)
48+16=64
64+16=80
80+16=96

41 is getting more traction now so let’s go for it. If it doesn’t work, we can try a different one later.

It should be 42, that’s the number that was the answer to “Life, the Universe, and Everything” in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which No Man’s Sky drew much inspiration from.

Dunno if someone has noticed this, but at the Q&A (About) page, in the second question from the top, there is a reference to someone named “Superlimina”.

I don’t know if anyone else got the tweet but according to https://twitter.com/WatchingTitan the number to enter in was 41. However, the tweet has been deleted.

The Myriad Ways “companion app” seems to refer Larry Niven Scifi novels “All the myriad ways”. Which is about parallel dimensions too!

There is a thread on the NMS subreddit asking people to vote 80 on the Mercury thing. 41 is winning so far, but that may not be the correct answer because it hasn’t updated to step 2 yet.
Edit: My mistake, 16 is winning.
