Thought I would bring this over from Archive since the ARG is running thru multiple updates. Maybe we can keep this just to ARG related points though, it all seems rather vague to me.
Sorry I could not grab @toddumptious fisrt post. It is permanently trapped in archive.
Sorry @MacForADay for hijacking your post

Sharing this here since it’s definitely related to the ARG; the first Waking Titan started with the word “Portal” hidden in the spectrogram of cassette tapes after all.
I’ve noticed not all the systems are “Discovered by Hello Games” three weeks ago.
Saw one with a pair of two digit numbers in square brackets. Has me thinking there might be something to peice together here (all the planets in this system are Discovered by Hello Games, it’s the first Rendezvous point)
Afaik there’s a dialogue with some small hex thrown in somewhere which translates to “our own convergence”, wonder if that’s being “built”.
Might have some evidence for it that i’ll throw into datamining spoilers in a bit.
The Atlas stations are making some weird sounds I don’t remember them making before when presenting your buddy parts, might be crazy but each one sounds a little different. (pre- waypoint since I last went, so might just be an old change)
I’m avoiding reddit and just sticking here so if anyone has heard anything about this or can tell me its an old change from back a bit, awesome <3
edit:
Hey I finally got a different one!

More edit: more bigger. I got this call as soon as I destroyed the previous atlantid piece and answered it thinking it was a bug. Or a taunt?

0x656E6365 converts to ASCII as “ence”.
Think I got it in game from an Autophage… 4th maybe…just noted it down then checked string later, couldn’t be arsed to write everything out as I found it, just pointers to remind me to look later lol
I managed to translate all of the Hex from the lang strings looking for unused assets, but I don’t think I should post em till people decipher more of the messages legitimately. Thoughts?
So these must be the clues SM mentions here:
Singularity’s mysteries extend into several layers, and players who are especially interested in the narrative can delve below the surface to uncover further clues to what is on the horizon for No Man’s Sky.
