Using 2GQbD5X as key for the blowfish cipher didn’t give anything useful, just a heads up to anyone
Doesn’t seem to be a pastebin, dropbox, or youtube file either.
a/O1OseeB had already been used as an imgur link, which contained images of markers, flashlight and tape
The IBM link is probably a clue as to how we should use the pastebin data from the 3 glyph passwords. Don’t know what it hints at though.
Didn’t the apostle Paul call himself the lowest of the low when he found out that his conduct towards the Jews was wrong and his course in life was corrected?
Question - If the purpose of the voice recordings was to restore Emily’s speech, then, as yesterday’s youtube showed, that has been achieved. Why is Loop 16 still downloading voice data?
What are they going to do with it?
Obviously, her vocabulary was still somewhat limited. The restoration isn’t complete.
But that reminds me, might the bit she said give a clue as to how to decrypt the data?
More thoughts on what Emily said
This came from Bane BlackGuard on the Steam forum
on the off chance people aren’t familiar with The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, after he gave the answer “42” the people who built Deep Thought didn’t like the answer because it didn’t make sense. he explained that it was because they never really understood the question. he said a computer even more powerful than himself would be built to enable them to understand what the question was and that it would be called Earth. but just as Earth was about to finish calculating the meaning to the question, it was destroyed by the Vogon constructor fleet.
perhaps Emily in her bizarre, personality-less, response is attempting to give an answer that we will understand. remember, the purpose of building her was to predict the future. how can you predict the future unless you understand the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything… perhaps Emily is attempting to explain WHY 42 is the answer.
sphenic number is the product of 3 distinct primes. 2x3x5=30 2x3x7=42
the first answer is the smallest possible sphenic number. The answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything, is the NEXT smallest sphenic number… because it establishes the pattern. it defines the algorithm necessary to continue the sequence.
Emily is explaining that she has established the pattern. she knows what the future holds because she knows what the pattern is. this would only be possible if there were an algorithm that determines what the future is, a procedure. She can predict the future because the universe is procedurally generated.
does this make our universe a simulation? my guess is this is the implication.
I would also like to point out that science operates on the assumption that there is indeed a set of rules that determine the universe’s outcome. an algorithm, a set of procedures. Science is completely dependent on the assumption that the universe is procedurally generated
Could fit, with the star of David being an hexagon…
Hmmm… well when Paul calls himself the lowest of the low, that was a major turning point for him. In fact, his name was Saul when he would persecute the Jews and then later his name changed.(back then, names all meant something so name changes were common)
Maybe this is a reference to a “turning point” or a “drastic change” or “i was wrong with my actions, I am guilty of that and now I want to correct my way” or “i’ve been humbled”…
Maybe “Anu” is having a turning point in the simulation? Maybe he is humbled by what he is seeing or experiencing?
Or maybe its just something else entirely.
Do we know what the Uplink is? It is incomplete and Loop 16 is processing. Perhaps she has not received all of the voices yet.
No, not yet.
The uplink is the WARE uplink: http://uplink.satcom-70.com/. We just need the deployment code.
The pastebin strings we received at the end of glyph inputs last night will likely help us with this. But what do we do with them?
Blowfish! Devlinpixy, you’re a genius!

to hex and decoding with blowfish with the cypher Tharsis results in the following text:
The hills I have conquered honor the lost, who preceded my journey…
I’m off to see if I can crack the rest!
Also, Tharsis was right!

From these hills, I can see the headless horsemans lair…
(cypher is Hellas)
Can’t decrypt the last one with either Tharsis or Hellas, presumably the first two are a clue to the cypher for the third. Anybody getting any sense from this?
I understand blowfish, but can you explain Tharsis for me and how to use it exactly?
From my red soil, four times vulcan rises:
Tharsis is a vast volcanic plateau centered near the equator in the western hemisphere of Mars.[note 1] The region is home to the largest volcanoes in the Solar System, including the three enormous shield volcanoes Arsia Mons, Pavonis Mons, and Ascraeus Mons, which are collectively known as the Tharsis Montes. The tallest volcano on the planet, Olympus Mons, is often associated with the Tharsis region but is actually located off the western edge of the plateau.
Tharsis is the key you need to pass to the blowfish algorithm to decode the hex.
Ok, so convert base64 to hex, then use blowfish. Are you using Tharsis as a key or how do you you use it?
Yes, exactly. I’ve used this decoder:
GO! GO! GO!
