Is there a link between the Red Orb when following the Atlas path in NMS and the tv-serie Alias?

They do look cousins! I didn’t know that spies show had such intricate lore…
From a technical standpoint it’s a displaced sphere using noise… Which makes perfect sense for NMS, since it represents perfectly the main generation system for the galaxy, missing a sparkle of procedural, like a random color, maybe, to be the perfect avatar for the simulation.
