So once again we have gotten a hologram video. I keep thinking about that Creature Hologram we have had in the game source files for so long, but has never been implemented. Now how cool would it be to have an app that shows your NMS discoveries in a similar fashion??? Not quite the ‘evil app’ Sean Murray mentioned in a Tweet, but … who knows …

I certainly believe that we the players are the dreamers. We could all have been hooked up to simulate our version, collecting valuable data. As for the Iteration number, all travellers got those. They also appear in the traveller dead quotes. This one specifically is at the very start of the game (“Awaiting Fresh Iteration”).
I don’t think you have to try to translate this soup:
The myriad is showing us Latin text but is it Ipsum Lorem a placeholder text that makes no sense, it was also found in NMS with the big ball theory
Or were these originally meant for something, other than have me chase across planets trying to open Portals

Yes, it started out as Latin, but it’s been altered to the point that it’s just nonsense now. It can’t be translated.
However:
The text Myriad has given us is not the standard Lorem Ipsum generally used by publishers etc. It contains many of the same nonsense words, but also new ones, and the word order is different.
The highlighted words “urna dictum consectetuer” (also nonsense) clearly have some significance beyond their meaning as words. Perhaps their position in the text? Number of letters?

The only thing I find odd, is the fact that “urna dictum consectetuer” is highlighted within <strong></strong>
tags. Also misspelled ‘consectetuer’ as it should be consectetur. Other than that, nothing weird about the generated Lorem Ipsum as nowadays generators are used most of the times, resulting in a randomly mixed up variant. The vocabulary for generating these appears to have increased over time as well.
There doesn’t seem too much too it, likely a red herring, but who knows.
The standard Lorem Ipsum contains the word “consectetur” - which is a genuine Latin word, but is meaningless in the context it’s used. The Myriad text, however, uses the word “consectetuer” - an extra “e” has been added, and it is no longer a Latin word.
I wondered earlier whether the number of letters might be important. The addition of an extra letter gives the phrase “urna dictum consectetuer” the number sequence 4,6,12.
4, 6, 12, does form part of a known sequence - that of Highly Composite Numbers - it goes 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 120, …
Does this mean anything? No idea.
I came to the same conclusion, but not sure where to take it from there. I have it in the back of my head, simmering …
if it is average of twin prime pairs it can be 4, 6, 12, 18, 30, 42, 60, 72, 102…
That was my very first thought when I saw the connection between that message and the sleepers name.

It’s more likely to be the answer than highly composite numbers. Alice & Smith like primes. They’ve used them before.
