It finally happened to me, I got the Teleport List refresh bug

This has been an issue for a long time. Changing galaxy is not correctly updating everything. If I do not forget, I usually edit my HomeRealityIteration to match the galaxy I am in, which then appears to fix it again. For some reason its value usually does not change, and not even sure if jumping core has a different result. After adjusting with a simple JSON edit, it appears to function fine again.

I have also noticed that right after a galaxy change (teleport), both UniverseAddress and PreviousUniverseAddress change the RealityIndex value to the now current galaxy, where the latter should initially actually remain unchanged.

All the way back in 2018, ExternalBase and EmergencyGalaxyFix (TeleportTypes) were added as part of game changes made. A few years ago (2022) they included a few more to go with game updates and fixes. It does make me wonder if there is a reason to not update this HomeRealityIteration value match after change of galaxy by teleport.
The current TeleportTypes are as follows:

Base
Spacestation
Atlas
PlanetAwayFromShip
ExternalBase
EmergencyGalaxyFix
OnNexus
SpacestationFixPosition
Settlement
Freighter

The issue with ‘visited systems’ icons being persistent across galaxies, may actually be related. (see Visited Systems Cap). This is why I am unsure if changing HomeRealityIndex is the proper solution, as it does not fix the icons.

I suggest to create a Bug Report or a reminder, when running into this issue.
