I have spent the last 9 years more or less chilling in Euclid so, I have managed to avoid this ever happening to me. I’ve heard it’s come and gone over the years but I never saw anyone mention a specific fix.
I went to Hilbert on my permadeath save, forgot to visit the first space station before jumping back to a base. So I locked myself out of Hilbert but no worries, I just wanted the Trophy/Achievement.
But now, my teleport list for space stations isn’t updating. It’s stuck on the same static list.
It’s not a major issue as I’m sticking to the same cluster of regions in this save and if I go any major distance I pop down a small base.
But I am curious if there is a fix, maybe via save editor? I’ve heard that the issue can contaminate all your saves and I’m feeling anxious about the next Expedition as a result.
Here’s some folk all talking about it and experiencing it recently that might explain it better than I can.

This is one of those things I have never paid any attention to. I have been to at least 80 different galaxies so I’m sure mine has done the same. I rarely jump back to many systems but I do still have the ones where I built a base, even in the other galaxies.
So now that I am thinking about it, I am certain mine is also stuck…in fact I know it is because this explains why I have looked for systems in the discovery list and could not find them in the teleporter list.
Well dang. Now I can no longer be blissfully ignorant.

Thankfully it just effects space stations, if it also did this to your base TP’s I would cry myself to death and back again.

This has been an issue for a long time. Changing galaxy is not correctly updating everything. If I do not forget, I usually edit my HomeRealityIteration to match the galaxy I am in, which then appears to fix it again. For some reason its value usually does not change, and not even sure if jumping core has a different result. After adjusting with a simple JSON edit, it appears to function fine again.
I have also noticed that right after a galaxy change (teleport), both UniverseAddress and PreviousUniverseAddress change the RealityIndex value to the now current galaxy, where the latter should initially actually remain unchanged.
All the way back in 2018, ExternalBase and EmergencyGalaxyFix (TeleportTypes) were added as part of game changes made. A few years ago (2022) they included a few more to go with game updates and fixes. It does make me wonder if there is a reason to not update this HomeRealityIteration value match after change of galaxy by teleport.
The current TeleportTypes are as follows:
Base
Spacestation
Atlas
PlanetAwayFromShip
ExternalBase
EmergencyGalaxyFix
OnNexus
SpacestationFixPosition
Settlement
Freighter
The issue with ‘visited systems’ icons being persistent across galaxies, may actually be related. (see Visited Systems Cap). This is why I am unsure if changing HomeRealityIndex is the proper solution, as it does not fix the icons.
I suggest to create a Bug Report or a reminder, when running into this issue.

Thanks so much, I’ll transfer my save over to PC and try the HomeRealityIteration adjustments. I’ll also send a reminder to HG that its still being a silly billy.

Hey sorry to bother you on this some more @DevilinPixy but I’m a little scared of changing values willy nilly.

I was in euclid, went to hilbert via centre galaxy warp, but returned to Euclid by going straight to my freighter and warping to a base there. I think my plan was to warp back to hilbert via the freighter base but silly me summoned the freighter to grab resources from it at base in Euclid.
My main question is, does 0 represent Euclid and 1 represent Hilbert?
Do I change HomeRealityIteration to 0 and PreviousUniverseAddress 's RealityIndex to 1?

Values start with 0 (Euclid), 1 (Hilbert), and so on using decimal, unlike regular discussion of galaxy numbers.
If you are currently in Euclid, I’d change the HomeRealityIteration to 0 and leave it at that. Then check if it solves your issue with TP locations.
Changing the PreviousUniverseAddress > RealityIndex to 1 will have no effect and it will correct itself after a next system change. It was just something I noticed to be incorrect right after a galaxy change, as it should still be pointing to the previous galaxy index value, being the previous location.
