Introduction Thread

Officially joined today. o/

I’m Kyle, a professional video editor in Tacoma, WA, USA. Radio was actually the thing that introduced me to electronic music and techno when I was messing around with finding different frequencies in my area as a kid. All the mainstream stations never played that stuff and I have always loved it.

Other than that I have no experience in radio. I was drawn over to this forum because of the Waking Titan investigation, and then I noticed @Emily linked my video in the To-Do list. I’m humbled to inadvertently be part of this community! I’m totally engrossed in this thing now! I can’t stop reading and looking! Cheers!

Just an ape descendant from sector ZZ9 plural Z alpha whose best friend turned out to be an alien. I stuck out my thumb and here I am. I’ve always been into radio: the glow of those vacuum tubes, the warm sea of static. Messages drifting lazily through space. In my off hours I collect artefacts from the Zones, things like Black sprays and Needles, to further their study. I’ll be monitoring this channel from the console of my good old GP #3, and am excited to see what the future holds.

I’m a No Man’s Sky fan, that’s how I ended up here, due to the connections it has with Waking Titan. I am also a middle school teacher and a very analytical thinker; I love a good mystery. I’m not very good at math; I am more about psychology, human interaction, and their effects on human behavior (which really comes in handy when dealing with middle school students).

Hi, my name is Andrew, and I’m a frequent puzzleholic. I came here from the NMS subreddit to watch this WT thing unfold. I am also up for learning a thing or two about HAM operation because, well, it just sounds interesting. My grandpa was a HAM enthusiast and would often times easdrop on local law enforcement transmissions. It was cool to watch.

In my spare time I build worlds and patch modular synthesizers. Lately I’ve been working on generative musical arrangements. It’s pretty dope.

I tend to be a loner, too, so, ummm, I was never here…

I still did not introduce myself proper, i am sorry for that.
My Name is David, but just call me Dave. I am living in Germany and came to this Forum straight from the NMS Subreddit. I am playing NMS since launch and hope we can bring some light into the latest mysteries around it. I love Games, Mysteries and Puzzles and I am really happy to be a part of WT and this friendly Community.

Due to the fact that I have evening classes alongside my full time Job I may sometimes answer very late, please be patient

Greetings!!

I’ve found myself here after stumbling upon this Waking Titan “thing” through No Man’s Sky.

I’ve not been active within the forum and prefer to play the role of an outside observer.

I’m not even certain why I’m posting right meow as you’ll probably never hear from me again!!

Hey guys!

My name is Gavin and I live in New Zealand.
I’m a University student studying Media and Communications so I suppose in a way I know a little something about radio and such, however I stumbled across ETARC because of Waking Titan as many of us have.
I have a background in music and predominantly study film. A big fan of gaming as well so the No Mans Sky connections have been cool.

I don’t post here super often but you may see me around now and then.

It is!!

I’m still looking forward to joining the guild.

I recently moved my home base into a different system with a black hole next to my home planet.

For black hole roulette purposes obviously…

It’s me. =)

I may have “replied” to the wrong post.

Hi I am following the No Man’s Sky and Waking Titan ARGs. So I guess you could say I am gate crashing this radio forum. Sorry.

Hello all, I’m your newest member as of this writing. I have lots of experience with sound in general; audio processing, home studio recording, playing music, producing electronic music, and I dabble in electronics repair from time to time. The connection to NMS is what’s drawn me in and I’m fascinated to see where all this is leading…

valkyrea, from Malaysia.

I guess I can be considered a sci-fi addict… show me a poster or a book cover with a space ship and I’m on board  (I might curse and place a spell on all the ancestors of the creators and writers after I see / read the content, but at first glance if it has a space ship then count me in)

(yeah they got me at the moment the ship lifted off in the original promo video)

I’m dying to see the complete and final ‘Real No Man Sky’ as conceptualised and perceived by Hello Games, and to see all the puzzles solved and all the lores understood in the game.

Sorry I haven’t had a chance to properly greet you all personally! I’m so excited our community is growing, and I’m psyched up about the progress we’ve made and will continue to make

As a way of welcoming you all, and also because I’m slightly over caffeinated, please enjoy this joyful astronaut:

Hi,

I’m Rob, lurking for a while, decided to sign up.

Doubt I’ll be able to help massively, but I’ll definitely be trying.

And everyone loves a 'try’er, don’t they?!

Thanks

Hello Travellers,

My friends call me the alien of the group, so you guys are my people! CobraTV introduced me to NMS almost 2 years ago. In spite of the release, HG has done nothing but impress me every step of the way. I’ve never participated in an ARG before, and this is a blast!

Grah!

Hello,

I’m kesbet, I’ve joined yesterday but been here since the 2nd sequence was revealed. I came from NMS subreddit (salaba-red there), I got into all the portal mystery and consider myself a ‘portal-believer/cultist’.

I’m not the math person, though been doing some biology-related programming stuff for a couple of years. We won’t get some DNA/RNA to analyse here, but I like looking at things from different angles, so I gladly participate in some brain storming here with some ideas/theories. I’m also an artist (more or less, not very productive though) and have some strong affection to details, so it may come handy (maybe).

Funny enough, I don’t own the game. My graphic card is a bit too old to enjoy the play, though I have some decent computing power under the hood (meaning PC, not brain - well, maybe that too  ). Still, it doesn’t prevented me from becoming a NMS fan, which is quite odd… When I finally upgrade my PC, I hope to play it and enjoy it even more.

It’s very nice to meet you all!

P.S. If I make any English related mistakes, I apologize, I’m from Poland and English is not my first language
