These old forums are a treat and lends itself nicely to the slow and steady pace that suits us all just fine 
Currently we’re voting for the location of our Event System for the broader community celebrations for NMS’s 10th anniversary, feel free to take part and let us know which one you’d prefer.
Outside of that we have various threads for NMS related stuff like update discussion, screenshots, videos etc as well as several misc off-topic general discussion threads.
Theres a spoilery datamining results/discussions thread too, if you are the kind who likes to see whats hiding in the update files or just want to discuss that stuff in general.
Theres also some LNF discussion happening now and then.
I’m sure the community here would also love to hear all about Archive-16 and what it does or even your journey in programming it. I must admit I’m a little bit clueless myself when it comes to discord-bots and their functions, it’s fairly new territory for me. We use tags with our posts, the “creative mode” tag would be perfect for a post like that if you do decide to post about your robot.

Hello everyone! Wanted to introduce myself - I’m Rusty, a longtime NMS player and longtime reader of this forum, especially the threads about recent updates and datamining. I’d be happy to join the community, and please forgive my English in advance - it’s my second language. Really excited for the ARG, whether it’s official or fan-made.

What’s up everyone. I haven’t officially introduced myself and I’m exploring the forums a bit today so figured why not?
I’m YourBasicMaths, I made this username back when the Waking Titan ARG began in 2017, because I noticed some mathematical patterns at the very beginning of the game, and wanted to post them to Reddit. This was before anyone knew for sure that Hello Games was involved.
I needed a name, and I love the way Sean refers to math as “maths.”
It was a blast being heavily involved in WT and the memories will last a lifetime.
The beginning of an ARG is always so electric. The speculation, the research, the investigation. I love all of it. So I’m excited to be a part of this next one, whether it’s official or not.
Some people have accused me of being Sean himself. Sacrilige, if you ask me. I’m just a nerd who enjoys a good NMS ARG.

Waking Titan sure brings back great memories, and it is great to see how current events are getting many of us out of the woodworks once more. It’s good to see you around again, we can use more ‘Maths’ 
So far I mostly see excitement in all sorts of disorganized ways. I feel we are in desperate need of more to solve, curious to see where this all stems from, and most of all eager to find where this is heading.

Thank you! I’m excited to bring some basic maths to the table here.
My fingers are crossed (and it is my suspicion) that this is an HG operation, but if it’s not, it seems well-made and will be a lot of fun regardless. I have a feeling we’re meant to wait for now.
Puzzles tend to jump out without too much reaching, but we will see. I can’t wait to see what the next sec-log reveals in ~16 hours.

Hey just some advice since I routinely hit the 3 reply limit on this place over the years, you can always edit and add anything else you wish to contribute to an existing post, if you hit the limit and nobody else has posted something new.
However I do not know if editing posts is something new members can do or if that comes later with more trusted permissions after hitting some of the forums posting “milestones”.
I would assume anyone can edit their own posts, regardless of how new they are but I am often so wrong in my assumptions.

I can edit my posts, and I was able to post quite a bit yesterday. However for some reason the sudden 3 post limit also limited my ability to edit within the Skyscraper thread. I haven’t tested again since my last attempt a couple hours ago, but I’m going to give it some more time.
I did receive a message from the System that I “leveld up” though!

Hi all, UK based player from just before Next launched (didn’t know it was about to, either). Played on PS4, now Steam. Had >1500hrs on PS4 and >850hrs on Steam. A little more hit and miss these days, but always do the expeditions.
I’m rubbish at building and combat, but I get by.
