Expeditions Alphabet

I saw this alphabet decoder. Are they reading this forum? I had assumed it was already decoded and I was already late. How can we contribute?

EDIT: Feel free to post screenshots of example text from the game, and add your suggested translation in spoiler tags!

I studied the posters that are attached to the watertower in my settlement:

I am missing the one with the cat feet. … ( brain slowly switches to English ) … Now that I look at it … it could be PAW! Which would give us P and W. Duh!

Dangit. Thanks!

(Also… did you just insult the handwriting that my Momma gave me???) :scream_cat:

@AdaRynin: I have changed the topic category to ‘Frontiers’

You likely missed the bottom of the page:

If you have evidence of other characters

Please mention one of us on Twitter

Not sure they are reading this forum, so best to use Twitter as linked above

I don’t have a Twitter account. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I’m sure they’ll find their letters without me.

If you check the linked tool, P and W are already filled in. Any new ones you may find, I can inform them about if you wish.

I agree with you on 2. The wiki has it listed as 9. Of course, the poster could be stating that it is the 93rd race…

Give this one a shot.

That’s… quite a saying!

Perhaps a bit ‘impulsive’.

Before I had discovered the letter B (and before I noticed it rhymes) I had that one down as „keen as a Sean“ :innocent:

For the numbers we don’t have enough info yet to be 100% sure. 23 is one of those nerdy numbers like 42. (At least in Germany there’s a movie called 23 about a tragic young hacker in the 80ies).

Thanks! No new letters I’m afraid…

I’m strongly leaning towards ‘F’.

All awnings and flags have this on them. It is backwards on one side of the flags so I am using this pic because it would seem to be the right way around… C.##? Is there direct evidence of a period being used someplace? I am leaning towards the single dot being 1. Like @temp points out, the dot over the line can’t be 1 and F

A bit hard to see. Maybe the nip tree?

could be. Definitely difficult with some of these symbols because you can not tell if they are open or closed
