I just found 2 flaming Radiant Pillars in my hanger
Neither one has any tech installed
Great gads, I knew I’d need to make hangar space in my Expedition Main for the two new reward ships; I wasn’t counting on passing back this default OG-looking Rasamama S36, because who can resist that? [certainly not a ship collector, ahem] Now I gotta be on the lookout for Radiant Pillars comin’ in literally flaming hot…
My eyes are on fire and still, I cannot stop. ![]()
I have to say, I really like this space station old design.
Of course I’m biased because I like when things are different, but thinking that will be the last time I ever set foot in one of those I already miss them a little.
It is so fun to see the gang hanging around the old station.
But that is the not the first station iteration. Before that, there were just the rooms down the hallways on either side of the hangar.
I am loving the dev logs. I hope they carry over into the main game
And I finally passed out with the controller in my hand. Thankful I was on my freighter. Calling it a night
Main takeaway from Waking Titan: There was a lifestream with a hamster. Sounds about right… ![]()
In the first steps of this expedition, while you’re still an orb , your full detailed third-person shadow appears in photo-mode.
I really want some now that I can set out to wander around my bases. A little like the wandering cube.
She was called Noodles
First time in the Expedition I landed on one the mission was telling me to go visit and get upgrades, looking around it took me a minute to realise where the shops used to be located “OH YEAH!, up on the balcony and behind”
.. its not really been long since the new station designs became a thing, but for a minute there I had a bit of digging in the brain cell to do.
I think she was called Mr. Noodles, if I recall correctly ![]()
the logs are in our catalogue, text+audio, just under Atlas part.
Did anyone grab glyphs for the phase 1 worlds and the rendezvous planets?
I kept a base on the starting planet.
This expedition is interesting because we seem to be staying in a very small part of space. In fact, the first portal jump sent me to another planet in the same system
I’m putting a base on the “terraforming disaster” for now; my assigned initial base was … assigned to other players as well? All was well yesterday but when I returned this morning to drop a Pilgrim bay, there were comm balls everywhere and even another set of prefabs and a landing pad built by another player. Still only one visible computer, which meant I had to shift until I could get control of it to delete my base (in other words, HG is assigning the same “in the wild” base computer to multiple players, which earned a ZenDesk ticket).
Yeah the first spot seems intentionally set up to house multiple players, when I first got there there were lots of bubbles floating around the build area doing things, for that wow factor I guess.
It works since we’re playing on that eras rules for the games multiplayer.
I imagine it becomes a mess when the modern version of multiplayer unlocks in the expedition. I deleted mine once I made a base during the byte beat phase.
I have run into trouble finding an exotic something. I’m pretty sure its one of the collectables off exotic worlds (ie hex bush).
I figured I’d just find an exotic planet along the way to the rendezvous but it didn’t happen. I’m now back on the first planet collecting T9 to remake my warp fuel.
Slightly annoying given I had to do the five jump/battle/ free freighter mission twice as well. Burning through all my fuel running about.
