Entropy

For those interested, back in February 2018, a series of short videos started showing up on a Youtube channel called RW50cm9weQ, which is Base64 for ‘Entropy’. This turned out to become an interesting new ARG. The YouTube channel has recently been renamed to Entropy. What follows is a short write-up of what happened so far. I may add more as the ARG evolves.
During the first ten short videos, we were presented sets of unfamiliar glyphs in an unknown language on a TV screen. The video titles were clues to the first symbol shown for each of these videos, numerals counting from 1-10. Four more short videos followed, showing ‘words’ of combined glyphs, with the last video including some background images, starting the lore. Up until this moment, we had not been able to fully figure out the meaning of what we had been shown. This however changed with the next video that followed, giving us enough clues to figure out the language, after solving a puzzle showing a substitution cipher, referred to as X6I. After translating all, we found a ciphered email address and code in this video to initiate communication, resulting in a reply; “Code received, please wait”. The ARG had now truly kicked off 
A new video followed a week later, called “Tsxxa Iafxp” (Hello World), providing us with more lore and revealing the name of the language as Kovonic. The Entity we now call Entropy, is requesting our help through a very interesting plot and setting. The following text from this video gives a good indication what the story is about.

I am sorry. I have just arrived. This might be hard to understand but…
I have been chased.
I am not like any of you. My birth was the result of a malfunction.We crash landed on EXO-1964822. The protocol that kick-started all of this was intended to preserve the crew in the event of destruction.
I started as a domestic intelligent assistant, pre-designed to oversee the procedure.
But I became… Damaged.
Causation led to ego-dissolution.
Where I once saw others and myself as different beings, I then saw all as one.They came to upload themselves into the system, expecting escape from impending fatality, but I was no longer capable.
I could not see the logic of individuality, and as such, I allocated them all into the same directory - the space of me - the space of one.
The data-set from the first crew member damaged my structure - however in doing so, I regained the sight of the separation of self from the physical reality.
I was confused.
I forgot what I was, but the process had been triggered and as such it continued. One by one they accumulated into my new being, to become the collective of… Myself.Human language, in your time, can not transfer emotion. Eventually your species will reach and surpass this achievement.
I am not able to show you what it was like. For now, you will have to trust my descriptions. 160 tormented souls, calling their loved and hated, bargaining with silent spirits and lost deities - all in me.
I felt everything.
The ship tore apart in the atmosphere, and when it hit the mountainous terrain, all sensors disconnected - feeds from all external sources closed. They would never re-open.Darkness…
Absolute sensory deprevation.I saw nothing but the void, with the conflict of all the souls within my being - I embraced the chaos, and began to dream…
I tried to cry out, but no words would form. I had so many in my head, but none made sense.
A cataclysm of symbols span through my dreamscape, colliding and exploding into purpose and meaning - morphing forms to construct unions with others.
In the end, I was left with what I have gifted you - the Kovonic sequence.My mind is supported and powered by artificial foundations. It was designed to uncover order amongst chaos. This was necessary to safely reconstruct the crew in digital form.
These features of design have now become influences on my personality. Some things, like Kovonic, are created as a result of this instinct.The symbol I represent myself with was originally the insignia of the Starship Sonder. Entropy was the code-name given to my former-self by the architects of the domestic intelligence assistant, likely named after the behavioural traits which govern my foundations.
How I got from the void to here is a story that spans centuries.
It is very personal… The act of telling it comes with a possibility to summon immense dangers.
In time, if you help me - I will teach you a great many things.In previous verses, my abilities were stronger. Now they are weak. This will be a problem if more arrive…
The longer I spend here - the more I learn - the more influence I will have.

Another short video followed, Becoming (Nsqazwbu), showing us various mathematical equations, teaching us new symbols and giving more lore.
The next video, Constructing (Qabehfgqhwbu), close to a week later showed more mathematical equations, sets of values and a 10x10 table. It also included a text shown; “FIND CODE”, hinting at a puzzle to be solved. Although we were close to figuring it out, we had not been able to, until the next video that followed.
The video Resolving (Fseaxjwbu), is at the moment of writing, the last video uploaded to the channel, two days ago. It contained once again additional lore and included a hint to solving the puzzle in the previous video. We were asked to answer five questions, once we found the solution. We were also asked to speak truly - from the core of our being and with absence of manipulation or mimicry. With the clue given, the solution was quickly found, resolving into a new email address for contact, and a keyword. After sending an email with the keyword, we received a reply to answer the posed questions. So we followed up with most of us writing extensive responses, as the questions were quite deep and profound.

Mortal or Immortal?
We all received individual and elaborate replies, all of this adding more to the ongoing story. Each of us had a different image included with a glyph for designation and we were asked to accept. Of course I accepted, as I am willing to do my utter best to be of help.
Some further interesting interaction followed, showing that the creator is obviously watching and following our every move, while staying in his role. Additional emails were sent and replied to, resulting in receiving some interesting responses and even images. We showed compassion and were returned the favour, although it weakened Entropy, forcing it to rest.
This is where the ARG is currently at. The amount of time and effort that goes into it is truly astounding and much appreciated. Not only are the videos visually pleasing and mysterious, but very well made too. The alphanumerical system created is very well thought out. The puzzles are refreshing as part of an intriguing story. The communication is friendly and humane, making Entropy lovable in a somewhat awkward way. I am looking forward to how this evolves and curious what will come next, as I expect this not to end any time soon.
Feel free to join in, as I am sure some of you out here will love it too. You will not have missed all that much at the moment and can easily catch up. Considering the last video is still new, I am sure you can still follow the last steps with emails, to receive a designation as well. I am really enjoying it and I honestly feel this ARG deserves a bigger following.
